I always get bored by seeing only this much biomes they should add a new biome Named Wasteland.
What should it contain:
1.Sort of Desert+Mesa type biome with stone and sand hills and gigantic mountains with some dead trees.
2.There should me some fossils hidden and exposed underground.
3.small amount of life like some rabbits and etc etc..
4. (Most important) Should contain a new type of village with new structures. (You can design it youself)
5.[RUINED TEMPLE] with cool and hard puzzles and traps (Basically dont add that stupid traps like in desert temple and jungle temple) and should contain a best treasure in it.
6.make new passive mobs and non-passive mobs for that biome
7.Dont add any water source in that biome exept in villages (This includes caves)
1. For me the Wasteland always should have been made mostly from coarse dirt and large amounts of dead trees rather than stone and sand. Deserts and Mesas are as barren as they currently are.
2. Fossils? Sounds fitting for the land of the dead.
3. Mesa is more desolate in aspect of passive mobs. I think this biome should keep in line, there is nothing growing for herbivores like rabbits to feed on in the wasteland.
4. From the very definition a wasteland is an area that is not currently used to grow any crops or lived in. Presence of functional villages contradicts this. In my opinion, the biome should have plains' or taiga's village variants, except always zombiefied.
5. Rather than yet another temple I think the biome should contain a more modern/secular structure like laboratory or library. The problem with traps is that players will eventually find ways to circumvent it, even if it is randomly picked from a variety of subtypes, and eventually all "cool and hard" traps become "stupid traps". I would rather see a more conventional, but effective method of guarding the area with strong or numerous hostile mobs.
6. One hostile mob could do it. Maybe two if the additional one is exclusively used as lab/library guard. Many biomes don't have even one unique mob. I propose undead mob using shields or otherwise resistant to projectiles as regular type, and the optional one to be wraith - stronger, bigger and deader Vexes' cousin, that is going to negate all build-around tactics and force players to face-to-face combat.
And as I already explained passive mobs would not match the setting well.
7. No water? I see no problem here, it would be climatic actually.
Totalitarian architecture. Angular, defensible masonry over sleek, sloped carpentry.
Taking it slow. Provoking into attack typically does better rushing.
Underground engineering. Well-lit tunnels are much safer and often cheaper than any surface construct.
-----
Farmability. One of primary concerns relating to any feature.
Practical mobs. No annoyances taking up space and processor power.
Generalism and simplicity. Overly complicated and specialized concepts hardly ever come into fruition.
New biomes- yes, I like the idea of anything that adds more diversity to exploration and new scenarios to gameplay. That being said, a lot of biome mods, and just ideas for new biomes, while great, often seem like they wouldn't fit with the Vanilla feel of the game. I would rather see more diversity to the existing biomes than new biomes entirely.

Perhaps a less powerful version of the upcoming warden mob. It would provide a challenge for the loot.
The wasteland itself is so close to the desert and mesa biomes it seems like it would definitely fit into Minecraft. To me it would be a variant of the desert biome adding more diversity to the already bland desert. However there was talk about updating the desert soon so looking forward to getting that update.
6.make new passive mobs and non-passive mobs for that biome
7.Dont add any water source in that biome exept in villages (This includes caves)
6. I'm not convinced it needs new mobs, other than the vulture (maybe) that might come to Minecraft, or a mob that behaves similarly to silverfish like a scorpion or something.
7. I'd disagree with not having water in caves. Not having water in the surface caves sure, but definitely water towards the lower y levels.

THANKS
Hopefully Mojang sees this
Partial support.
