Hey, just a thought, Why not have electricity conducted by water from the redstone series? It would expand possibilities for animal and mob traps. Dig a hole, 3x3. Then, fill with water, 1 high, by 3 wide. connect a lever, button, pressure plate... yada yada... and presto! dead mobs or animals. I also thought of thunderstorms and lightning, but that's for a different post. I hope to hear some great comments and criticism on this.

Don't mess with creepers, because it's not the boom that pisses you off; it's the zombies and skeletons that teabag your remains. ...just hit respawn. O.o
I like this except that it if you can run current through water, then you would expect to be able to pick up the current from the water at the other end, thus diminishing the need for redstone wire.

Yeah, but that is circular logic on the user's behalf. If they use water as redstone, they sacrifice light and the lessoned risk of injury. thus, it's practically pointless.
