Well for AFKing you could just stay under a tree unless you are also fishing and want a higher fish rate. Then, you could just stay under a 1x1 skylight with ceiling and wall guarding you otherwise (since phantoms are big and clumsy).
As for raids, yeah, I hope they don't buff them too much, but that's not justifying AIs fighting AIs. Raids are hard enough as is, effectively bosses.
I think there may come a time where they will buff the raids, which would be a shame. Also it cannot be turned off on bedrock edition, not without cheats anyway. But having to use cheats to disable a feature that came in an update is a problem in itself.
it's not like patching an exploit or bug that needed to be removed from the game, this is something entirely different.

and then pillagers were allowed to steal player items from chests and destroy builds? that would ruin the game.
such changes if they were to happen, need to be reserved for a higher tier survival mode, Whitelight suggested a newer tier of survival in comments on Youtube and I agree with him.

Uuuuuh, yeah... I don't think I'd ever hold my breath on anything like that. That is horribly trollish and has been hated since people have been suggesting bandits on this forum.

it would be like making Herobrine a legit mob.
I would agree with making him a non griefing ghost in certain biomes, ghosts would be cool to have for haunted house or castle builds, but that's about it. Having Herobrine be put in the game to go around killing players and damaging their builds would be equally as trollish as what I mentioned in the other post.
