Now, I know that this won't apply to most users but, I share a Minecraft account with my brothers and every time I get a good place going, one of my brothers would go on and either destroy my base, get my killed, or get me lost without any materials forcing me to restart anew. I would like to see a password feature to keep people with intent of wreaking my files.
@Sting Aur my parents wouldn't help, my brother would just ignore them and my father says that it doesn't even matter. my brother uses our account on his own computer which he practically carries around with him plus he uses INVedit so it wouldn't even matter for him I don't use INVedit because I like to keep my worlds "legit"
@Pyronox I would have to buy it myself and I would rather spend my money on more practical things
@Deaven I do not know how to do that please provide a tutorial for a Mac
To make a backup you just copy the save file and put it in another folder. If the original save is deleted, place the backup in the minecraft saves folder.
Move Minecraft to a hidden folder in your computer and remove the shortcut if you have one. Claim that you have no idea why it's missing. Play as much as you want by going to the hidden folder and opening it through there, without telling anyone that it's there.

Tell them not to mess with your games. If it is on your computer, tell them that they can't play on it any more.
EDIT: If your parents say it doesn't matter, mess up their worlds too. That will show them to stop.
