Just earlier on I was reading a suggestion about dragons and I wondered... if they do put dragons in minecraft I think that if you do manage to slay it, you deserve a reward like no other! A pet, say if you kill a spider you could have maybe a 10 or 20% chance to get a pet from it. The pet could be your best companion, after all you can get a bit lonely in minecraft.
Perhaps you could name your new found pet or possible grow it, (as we all start out small) from a small baby to a normal sized animal. Now you cant say that doesn't sound cool?!
Say if I killed a spider, it could drop a spider egg and after a week in Minecraft it could hatch into a baby spider, and from then on you could grow/raise it up into an adult spider, which could then maybe attack an enemy you attach or you could mount it and use it a your trusty steed.
Just think, if they ever put dragons in Minecraft you could get an egg for a baby dragon, which could then, when older, you could actually fly it and attack with it. But sadly, after a few years in Minecraft days it will eventually grow old and pass away. So if they do put in dragons, the chance to get a baby dragon egg would be increased, because well obviously sighting a dragon would be rare occasion.
So feel free to tell me what you think of my idea.
