It is a known fact that piglins love gold, and it still isn't clear how they obtain it since you never actually observe them mining anything. I've also seen opinions expressed that golden nuggets should not be easily available in the nether. So, I suggest implementing the piglins as a sort of competition for the nether gold so that it isn't as easy to obtain. It would make sense for at least a couple of piglins to be near veins of nether gold, and they would serve as a deterrent for mining it, as piglins attack when they see you touch gold. Perhaps it could be that each piece of nether gold has a small chance to spawn a piglin nearby after a set interval, or maybe they could spawn during the generation of the ores themselves. You'll have to be prepared if you want t mine for gold in the nether. As far as I can tell, there's no way to override the gold mining behavior, so it wouldn't be like in bastions where you could twist the system and take whatever you want with no consequences.
Another idea I had is that piglins could actually "mine" out nearby pieces of nether gold. Essentially, they would look at the block for a while, and then it would be converted to regular netherrack as if the piglin had extracted the traces of gold from the block. Maybe piglins who do this could have a higher chance to drop gold nuggets.
Perhaps this could be a feature of a new enchantment (called "extraction" or something) where one could take the ore out of a block without actually altering the terrain, but the block wouldn't drop any experience. This could be used with nether quartz, coal, lapiz, redstone, etc. (they would be converted to regular stone) For blocks such as iron (where you must smelt the ore to get the resource), it could simply drop the nugget version of that item (maybe add diamond nuggets for balance purposes). Maybe the same behavior could also be implemented in mobs like zombies and skeletons in order to make caving a little more interesting and ores a little rarer. Or maybe, instead of implementing a new enchantment, this could simply be the behavior if you tried to mine ore with your bare hands (though I realize this could interfere with the game's progression).
I suppose the new enchantment would be more of a curse, which would make it perfect for nerfing chest loot (maybe add it to the bastion loot table). Maybe it could be called "curse of the soft blow" (kind of a mix between regular mining and silk touch) and also decrease damage when applied to certain tools.
I realize those last two paragraphs are kind of off-topic, but I hope they're still related enough to be acceptable (the idea was derived from my thoughts on piglin behavior).
To download the other ones you need to make a folder in the versions folder for minecraft and put the client and JSON file for the versions in there. They all need to be named the same aside from file extensions. Once you do that, you will be able to choose that version when making a new profile with the minecraft launcher.
