I think notch should add "Cloud" technology to minecraft because I always want to use my main worlds on a different computer, it should be an option on "minecraft.net" and you can check/un-check if you want to use cloud. Dont troll or Flam on me.
please no cloud, valve messed up many things and minecraft shouldnt copy this.
1st Valve did not mess up on cloud
2nd Notch is implementing a way to choose where the save files are found anyway (or has implemented, I can't remember)
Got Linux? You can already run Minecraft off a cloud service (such as Amazon's) if you want.
I'm playing Minecraft with the saves directory mounted on remote storage over sshfs right now. It works surprisingly well. Terrain generation is a bit slower than doing everything locally, of course.
(I'm sure some kind of sshfs is also available for Windows and OSX, but I have no experience with that.)
It is, just called something different (as you may imagine)

Looks like Dokan library, Dokan Sshfs, and WinFUSE are current Windows implementations. There's also several for mac.
