Okay so I was thinking, maybe we should have an extremely rare ore, that can create indestructable tools. You might be thinking that this is WAY overpowered. Well, I was thinking maybe having it 16 times rarer than diamond veins? Think about it, a dedicated player might have a stack of diamond. On average, there is 4 diamonds in a vein. This means they have found roughly 16 veins. Equivalent to the probability of finding one of these. Also, they only occur in veins of 1. So 1 stack of diamonds = 1 of this ore. So extremely rare.
As I said, this would create indesctructable tools. It would likely not be faster than diamond, simply because that would be overpowered, so maybe giving it the same properties as iron picks, or maybe a bit faster. It would only be able to mine up to redstone, just like iron, if this were the case. However, if it were to be better than diamond, it would have to be MUCH rarer.
When I was thinking of this ore, I wanted it to be something really epic. So for the ore itself, it should be dark green, and it emits a light as bright as the sun. It can only be mined with a diamond pick axe, however, if you try to just walk up and hit it, you will get electricuted and lose 1 or 2 hearts. This is due to the powerful light coming out of it. So first, you have to go through other procedures in order to mine it. First, you must clear the blocks immediately around it. Then you must place water on top of it, to cool it down. You must let it sit like that for about 5 minutes real life time, and then you can mine it.
Since the ore emits a light brighter than the sun, some might want to use it as lighting. However when you place it again, it will still be extinguished. In order to bring it's light back, you just connect it to powered redstone for about 10 minutes (the times are adjustable), and then you can remove the redstone, and it's glow will be back.
You have to smelt it, like iron, if you want to make tools and stuff. It can only be smelted with lava buckets, and it takes the entire bucket to smelt one ore.
It's a lot of work to go through just for one gem of it, imagine having to do it 3 times for one pick axe! This, I think, justifies for the overpoweredness of indestructability. What do you guys think?

No you didn't, because TNT damage doesn't stack.

No indestructable tools. Simple as that, no matter how rare, once you get it, the purpose of mining is over.
Unless you die. Also, maybe it should be more slow and constrictive. Obviously if it can't mine obsidian, you still want diamond. And if it is slow, then you would want diamond as well. It might even be as slow as a stone pick.

Maybe it should not exist because each of the thousands of times it's been suggested, it's just as stupid...
