Definitely, paint should have been added in some form years ago. That would be cool to have it as a shader that you can apply with a paint roller also, in a fashion like the various paint mods.
totally agree dude! it would be so awesome to have coloured wood and stone! even though there are mods for this desire, I believe it would be a great addition to vanilla minecraft, especially in 1.15.
True, but what about the other blocks? Take wood or cobble. If we could color them, we could do even more.
Anyway, full support! I love the idea. I often finding myself struggling what blocks to use when I'm making a colorful build, so, yeah.
Wood and Cobblestone aren't colored because that's what the different shades of Wood and Cobblestone are for, and would take away the point of adding new Stone variations or new tree types.

Colored Wood was originally going to be added, but Mojang didn't because then they would have to make Fences, Stairs and Slabs for each colored Wood variety.
Although I don't think more colored blocks should be something to spend more focus and time on, more blocks really only increase creativity... I also really want dark grey planks so I like and support this idea.
On one hand, this would seem to be impossible in the current game unless you want to just add colored brick and colored wood blocks, which would seem to defeat the point of adding paint items. Why not just craft the bricks with dye?
On the other hand, being able to paint individual block faces would be immensely useful. I would definitely consider it useful if I can color the inside of a house while the outside still looks like the material the house is built out of. And no, building 2-meter thick walls is not an option since they make windows and doors look strange and take up far too much space.
I support the concept, I just don't think it's possible without Mojang inventing some new weird new non-block non-entity objects to the game.

My avatar is a texture from a small block game I made in Python. It's not very good and it probably won't work if you install it.
I'm very alone in my Minecraft worlds as I don't have a very good internet connection to run a server. If you're like me, you might be interested in my Posse mod suggestion.
This sounds impossible and would radically alter how we perceive building. Unless you can provide further detail going into the specifics of the action, no support.
paint would be crafted by dye and bucket of water and can be used to color objects such as bricks and wood.
pls comment if u agree

We already have dyed wool, concrete, terracotta, glass, etc. We don't need paint, you just need to be creative.
My suggestions: Enhancements - Throwable Fire Charges - On Phantoms and Elytra. Also check out The Minecraftian Language. This signature is not here to waste your space.

And why do we need coloured wood or cobble? We already have enough coloured blocks.

That's just, like, your opinion man
Minecraft is a game about being creative. If the block you want doesn't exist, improvise. (Which is why furniture will NEVER be added to Minecraft.)

What would be the point of dying eggs? Eggs are not placeable nor are they useful apart from a throwable defense weapon and chicken spawner.

Hey guys I'm James, I used to be a noob but now I'm not, I finally figured out how to use TextCraft so here's a banner for one of my suggestions.
