The good side about it would be that it'd be quite logical and nice to watch the spectacle unfold. A slight disadvantage would be that igniting one single block of grass would burn down your whole minecraft world.
Green grass is very hard to burn. But it would be cool if you could plant a field of wheat and burn it. Actually, I've never tried to burn wheat or sugarcane. Is it flammable?
Basically, any grass immediately surrounding the fire be burnt to dirt rather than actually catching fire itself? I can get behind that.
This is a better view ...
As long as nearby grass has a low chance of catching fire itself, then it wouldn't be so bad. But if each and every grass block caught fire and spread.... yea, you're world would eventually burn, and I mean :VV:.
Grass tiles should spread fire, and be returned to dirt once the fire rages past.
