( Works the same with other wools but different color )
[ Also a Leather couch, take leather and put it in the exact same order shown]
Pot (Pretend the Iron Ingot is Smelted Clay Bricks):

Then put the pot in a crafting bench and any type of flower on top of it to make a flower pot!

Now time for the weapons/tools:
Obsidian Tools:
(Not going to show how to, the exact same order to make the tools of now. What they do? They last a little longer than Diamond tools and mine in 1 click)
Fire Arrows:

(The reason for weird Flint and torch arrangement is the torch will light up the flint causing it to make a fire. What these do is that it will do the same damage, just make the monsters catch fire)
Iron Hammer:

(Acts as like a sword put morks much better, you could only make this out of Iron or Stone)
Others:
Stronger Sticks:

(Also works with other ores. The purpose is to make weapons/tools just last a LITTLE longer)
The only downside I can really see is that this'll take up a buncha items slots (in-game coding slots, not inv slots) and the items are mostly either purely cosmetic or unnecessary, such as the 'slightly' stronger tools. I agree that there should be more uses for the materials you have ideas for in the future, but until the amount of items that can be created is increased, I don't think we'll be getting as many new 'for the hell of it' items as we might like. :/
Still, good ideas, worth a thought and putting aside for that 'future' time we can all make our own couches and relax after a hard day drilling through the earth at running speed with our obsidian picks....ahh, good times...

I'm glad you liked it! Yes you are right about the downside but it would make minecraft a little more violent! >:smile.gif: Just kidding, I'm not trying to make Minecraft even more violent than it is now.
If sitting is introduced into Minecraft, then the chair will be great, if it won't be added, then chairs/couches are still good for simple cosmetic reasons. Plant pottery is a great idea (I'd be using them in one of my worlds). As for the Fire arrows, Hammer, and stronger sticks... it's kinda iffy.
Bow and arrow as it is is pretty powerful, fire arrows, even if it just adds burning damage, it's still jusf buffing something that's already powerful.
The Hammer seems kind of repetetive, even if it's just slightly better than stone/iron swords, it doesn't really seem needed other than the fact that it adds a new weapon.
Now the stronger sticks are something that would simply require good balancing. Because if say it adds +100 uses across the board then I'd say it's a bad idea. But if it increases different materials at different levels, then I'd say GJ. Like ...
Uses Wood Stone Iron Diamond Gold
Regular: 60 132 251 1562 30
Stronger handle: +40 +60 +80 +100 +20
Maybe, that might not be right, but it's a little more detailed.
Love the idea of useable furniture, been craving some when decorating inside my buildings. The flowerbot idea is also awesome. Not as sure about the weapon ideas since they seem kind of redundant to what already exists.

Yes, I like bats. No, I'm not emo. And I don't like vampires (except Nikola Tesla). I just like bats.
