So, today, i was reading dragonology (it's a book about dragons :tongue.gif:). I was looking a section that was talking about dragon eyes. And then i thought about minecraft. So, maybe we could make spyglasses ( we does not include me )
with dragon eyes. Because Notch said it was certain there will be dragons (i think i did, at least).
The pattern would be like this:
(+ is gold bar, - is iron bar, = is redstone, o is dragon eye, g is glass)
|+|+|-|
|g|=|o|
|+|+|-|
That would make a spyglass used to see WAY WAY WAY farther than normal, so you could observe the terrain and see tha land to explore, and find good places to set your new home, etc...
And there would be a way cheaper version made by replacing the eye with glass, But you would see way less farther than the other spyglass.
Dragon eyes would be found by killing dragons, and rarely in dungeons.
Do you think that would be a good idea?
I say why not. But prepare for your maps to get pointlessly big and I don't know how you'd address the issue of those playing with max fog.
Also do away with the dragon eye rubbish just make it

Huh?
Sarcasm?
Yes that was sarcasm. Now go back to preschool. Seriously dude, SPYGLASSES WOULD ONLY WORK ON MADE CHUNKS. READ UP ON IT.

Well then,
