Gorillas are neutral rare mobs that spawns only in jungle biomes.
Jungle equivalent for white bears: will attack if you come close to their babies.
But also they will attack if you look them in the eyes! (Yes, just like Enderman). This is gorillas natural behaviour in the real world.
It will make jungles is bit more dangerous place to hangout.
P.S. Jungles in real world is a very dangerous place. In Minecraft it most safest place, because aggressive mobs do not spawn so often like in other biomes (because of the trees). So let jungles be more dangerous because of natural fauna.
We do need that. But having said that, we need something that has a use, that will make us actually have it. Not just something “pretty”. Pretty things are cool for a little while, but then they get annoying.

I also suggest piranhas here: https://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/minecraft-java-edition/suggestions/2971439-piranhas
P.S. I believe Minecraft needs more biome-specific mobs, items and structures.
We don’t need more mobs. We need mobs with features. This is basically a skinned enderman with babies. It’s completely useless imo.
Wee need more mobs for atmosphere. And to make each biome unique.
Exploring biomes can become boring if the only difference between them - trees and grass color.
