Today i want to talk the chicken, our well-known mob which existed quite long time ago. Remember this is just an idea suggestion to improve Minecraft perhap. Some of the player including myself may have few problem with chicken...it have something that a little bit off...you know what i mean right? If there is a new player who just play minecraft log in their world to run a new adventure, they probbaly spot the chicken and they will say "Hey...there is a duck right here!".Come on everyone, we must improve our duck...Oops i mean our chicken. Revamp the model of it maybe hard but unless player can tell the different between duck and chicken. Next can someone tell me what turtle can do but the chicken can't... Yes! Lay the egg on the ground. When breeding the turtle to each other they start to lay the egg ON THE GROUND! But the chicken just pop off their egg out of nowhere as an item form. How about they lay their on the ground and we just right-click it to get it. Thats all the idea i have for this suggestion. Don't forget to give your thought.
Revamp of the mob 'skin' would be a purely cosmetic change and likely to annoy as many players as it pleased. Neutral, but consider this low priority.
The proposed change in the egg laying mechanics (while possibly more realistic [for whatever that argument is worth] – but, note that chickens lay eggs in more-or-less open nests while turtles bury theirs) will likely be embraced by those who wish to break farms as it would seem to remove an mechanic essential for current chicken farms.
[It would also remove a rather iconic hatching mechanism, that – unrealistic as it is – does add a bit of appreciated levity.]
More importantly, were chicken eggs to be treated as blocks rather than items (as are turtle eggs), it would not be possible to use the item despawn routuine to remove unhatched eggs as they 'expired'.
Given the rate at which chickens lay, eggs must either hatch or vanish to avoid creating an egg biome.
Allowing them to hatch would likely create an overpopulation of chickens (very laggy, but currently only occurring by player action/error).
Having the egg blocks vanish would require more processing power to track each egg block and would introduce the first 'vanishing block'.
(Exactly what could be done with a block that vanished is unclear [more details of how the egg block would behave are needed], but the consequences of adding such a thing need to be thought through…)

I love the egg idea, it’s a little more realistic but makes more sense. If i were to reskin the chicken i would add the little red puff on the head. Thats the only thing I would do because the chicken itself is quite an iconic mob.
