I dont know if this is intentional or not but the meat is restricted in inventory to one meat per square.
Now I understand it is so you cant have 100s of meat but there is one problem:
When your cooking it it does the EXACT SAME THING! so you have to wait for every individual piece to cook then put another on wait cook wait cook! it takes 25 minutes for a steady supply of food to cook.
Now I have no suggestions on how to fix it but please do it is annoying and it really wouldnt be cheating if it is only in the stove you can have up to 64 meats
The best 'solution' to your problem would be making raw meats stackable, but the fact that meat doesn't stack at all is one of the downsides of pork. It's clumsy to cook. Items should have upsides and downsides in a survival game; if you take away all the downsides, there's no challenge. And it's definitely not a glitch, just a design choice.
I thought it was pretty obvious that OP wanted pork to be stack able in the furnace only. And I have mixed feelings about that but I suppose it could work.

Why not just program it so that players can stack food in chests, but not in their inventory? It's a more direct approach. I dunno, you had a good idea too. I'm just throwing things around.

As stated, this is really just a limiter to make sure you don't run around with enough cooked meat to keep you alive forever.
64 cooked meat = 512 health. A player has 20 health, this is enough to heal 25.6 times completely. I will say no here.

The problem is that you would still have a brokenly large amount of porkchop in your inventory at a given time.
