Idk if you guys take suggestions for older versions, but I’d specifically like this for 1.7.10. (I hardly play 1.12-13 so idk if it’s already a feature on them??)
This wouldn’t be an advantage, just making the game the same experience that normal players get, for people with bad/broken keyboards like me or slow readers.
Basically, people with bad/broken keyboards, some of them, they won’t respond every now and again, which is like mine. Some of us don’t really have the time/money/whatever to replace them, so it’s kinda difficult when you’re in something important like a (mob) battle, or if it’s like a modpack/minigame thing where not wasting time is important (a race against the clock, a disease slowly spreading, etc). Usually the mouse should work better, so if this feature was implemented we could open a book to pause it.
Im also saying it would be good for slow readers, as aforementioned modpacks, some come with books you have to/should read. You can easily find all of what they tell you online (or SS it and then dc if you can’t) and read it in your own time, which is why it still isn’t an advantage.
This would be possible in singleplayer but in lan it would be impossible. By that I mean, if it was implemented in lan whenever one person used a book it would freeze the other player from moving.
There is no valid arugment. I understand that Minecraft should implement features for less lag, but you can't just change features to do so. I would also prefer if book and quills don't pause the game even in singleplayer to add to the realism.
