Tea. A simple everyday beverage. People drank it in medieval times, so why not have it in Minecraft?
To start off with, you need to craft a tea cup. There are 3 ways to make it. All of them just look different.
Tea cup:
[] [] [] = brick, gold ingot, or iron ingot.
Next up, you need to find some tea leaves! These should be able to be found in most areas, is rare, and can be used as a new type of crop, because it drops 1 tea leaf and 2 tea plant seeds. You don't need to make farmland for tea plants, unless you want more leaves from each. If you want just leaves, right click the plant.
Now, you must craft a tea kettle. Here's how you would:
Now, go find some water! Right-click the water with the tea kettle, and voila! Some water is now in the tea kettle. Now heat that water up in the furnace! Then, take some tea leaves and put them above the heated kettle, and you get some tea! In order to drink the tea, you need to put some tea into cups! Just put the kettle of tea over a tea cup, and you get a cup of tea! Tea can heal 1-3 hearts depending on it's temperature. Hot heals 3, warm heals 2, cold heals 1. You can heat the tea back up in the furnace. Also, you can take up to 6 sips of tea in one cup.
I'm sure some of you want to sit back, relax, and enjoy your tea. That's where the chair comes in!
Here's how you craft a chair:
[] [] []
Now, just place the chair, right-click it, and start sipping your tea! You can use items on a chair, look around, but you can't really move or break blocks.
Any CONSTRUCTIVE criticism is welcome.
Why would a teacup take so much materials to make?
Alright. Yeah it does take a bit much. That's on purpose though. Did you see how much a full hot tea cup can heal? 3x6=18. Almost 2 full heals!
EDIT: OK, less materials for a tea cup, and added tea kettle.
I was confused when you suggested making Small, Delicate Fragile tea cups out of Iron or Brick
I know why you'd think that. But I do mean an actual tea cup, not a kettle. But that might be a pretty good idea... Going to change how you get tea now :smile.gif:
In minecraft you need 9 iron ingots to make a 1 meter cube.
That makes each ingot about 4 inches cubes, which I think is more than enough for a cup []

*looks at a Minecraft pickaxe* Then it should only take half the ingots for every tool by that logic.

Because this is minecraft. And I believe it was you who said "This game doesn't need realism" or something along the lines of that
yeah.
