Minecraft has started to become more boring over time. A new update will come out and it will be fun for a month than you get bored because you have seen everything the update has to offer.
Something Microsoft could do is make small frequent updates to the game. I think that after 1.14 comes out or even starting now this should happen.
Here are some suggestions for things to add in the future.
-More birds
-Ambient sounds
-More hostile mobs like small dragons, sharks, bears, dinosours, etc.
-Peacful mobs like, Wales, deer, penguins, more dog breeds, mob genders, frogs, etc.
-More biomes
-New dimensions
-Underground cave biomes
-More ores to make armor and tools out of
These are my most wanted suggestions and some of my bigger suggestions. The main thing I am trying to say is to add a few small features every month.
