Hmm... no search button anymore, huh? Dissapoint. Anyways, I had another idea recently while thinking about meat blocks (that idea was gross and kinds sucked, so I'll keep it to myself. ), and that was Hay Bayles. These would be made just like ironblocks, gold blocks, diamond blocks, or glowstone, but with wheat;
Hay bales would break about as easily as wool, mabey easier, and would make grass noise when broken or stepped on. if they were put back into the crafting zone, they could be turned back into 9 wheat. When placed, hay bayles are easily flammable, and also attract animals (though they don't emit light.). If an animal gets close to a hay bayle, it has a chance of eating it, which will cause it to grow a tiny bit, indicating that it will produce more resources than normal when killed. hay bayles would also fall like sand or gravel when placed with no lower support, but would not deal as much dammage to the player if they are hit by one. these could also be useful in the speculated upcoming scarecrow update;

lol yeah, just noticed that I spelled it wrong every time. Oh well, it was like midnight when I wrote this. :tongue.gif:
Anyways, glad to see that this's gotten all positive responses so far. Hopefully I can keep this on the first page long enough for it to not end up on page 20 every time I leave it alone for 5 minutes, cuz I'm sure notch doesnt check more than like 5 pages worth of suggestions on these forums.
I'd love to have a storage type block for all of my wheat. Not sure about the whole 'feeding mobs to grow them bigger' part. Would that be too complex?

Well, he successfully added an entire new world generation code and mobs that shoot tnt in the nether update, so I doubt making it so that if an animal eats the animal equivelant of cake it produces twice the amount of items is anything notch can't handle. :smile.gif:

Cows Eat Hay Bales Naturally?, Cow doesn't despawn for another X minutes (for sure)
If so then Yeah, If Not then Yeah
Yeah, I was thinking that animals would probably not despawn for a long while after eating hay. That way you can keep your pigs with saddles. :tongue.gif:
