ever have two types of walls that you want to see
one from the inside and one from the out...
but really dont want to make a double wall?
well how about if you could combine walls so one side shows one thing while the other has something else
maybe a bookshelf on one side and stone on the other...

makes two half and half
it would be literally half down the center
i know its not that much...
but it helps to save the width of walls
so you can have a brick front and wooden inside walls...
also the duribility will depend on what side you are hitting
when it is destroyed it will devide into its origanal blocks(if it is like a bookselve destroying it will have the same result on the bookself side that it would have on a regular bookshelf. the block being half and half, each half will retain its physics.)
The bricks on one side wont be affected to what happens on the other, saying if i have a fire on the stone side, it wont burn down the other side not adjent to fire.
Sure why not. No real issues, except currently there are not vertical halfblocks at all so this may be weird.
Oh actually I guess I do have one issue,
so say the block is half and half like
and you mean to put the block as one of your walls making the stone outside and the wood inside.
What happens if you don't add the block into the wall the right way, meaning if you were to look at the wall from both the inside or the out side you would see both
Let me know if that doesn't make sense. I know if you get it wrong you could just adjust it but I wonder if it will have the furnace effect. You ever look at your furnace and the block is completely spun around?
I think an easier way to implement this idea would be adding vertical half blocks. Which has already been suggested. but ya

If you have a suggestion about guns go here:
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=21507
it happens also with chests
but here is a good solution
make the block that was put on the right side of the grid the one that will face you when being placed
would that work
also i know of half blocks and since their are none in the game i thought this could be a semi help to that problem
