I was just thinking. I think that adding different colors to the sky would really make the atmosphere of Minecraft improve dramatically.
Right now, the sky and sun seem to be sort of "glued" together, and they move in the same direction and whatnot. What if, as the sun move across the sky, the sky changed to different colors? It already has a small amount of color changing, I'm just asking for an improvement. It definitely would not cause any lag (none that I could imagine).
And, to take it a step further, what if the surrounding blocks gained a slight tint of the color of the sky?
Just food for thought. :tongue.gif:
If this is a bad idea, please let me know. I'm getting better at this suggesting thing little by little. :tongue.gif:
(By the way, I did use the search bar before posting this, so forgive me if it's been posted before.)
The whole map should be tinted slightly orange during sundown, and slightly bluish during early morning. And it should be toggleable.

"Minecraft? Realistic? Really? This is a game where you punch trees to get wood, you can make the wood into wooden planks in less than five seconds, and trees don't fall even if you remove a piece of the trunk from the middle. This is a game where animate corpses, giant spiders and exploding green terrorists emerge at night to hunt you down, farm animals run rampant across the countryside, and you can stop the flow of molten lava with a block of snow."
