Well last night as I was cleaning my back yard I was thinking about minecraft and how much I hated the nether.
It is almost pointless to go into and that netherackk looks silly when actually building, and that brought me to the way I don't like massive amounts of mossy cobble and it has to be done just right as to be random.
Thats when I came up with this suggestion, I like it enough to post it even!
Growing Ivy.
Part of what makes the randomly generated worlds in minecraft so breathtaking is the simple fact that they are random, thats what makes the wow! factor.
So instead of a stagnating block such as mossy cobble hopefully there is a way to get ivy to grow on the side of smooth stone!
Better yet anything when planted buy only found wildly on the side of smooth stone.
Maybe you can get the seeds from the grass hoes?
Anyway I was just thinking the potential of it could be great for making adventure maps and really old looking castles.
I have no knowledge of how to use java I just wanted to get my idea out there.

The pain in my life only makes it worth living,
besides minecraft would be no fun if I couldn't eat pork once in a while.
Well growing Ivy world sort of be like like little vines that branch out all over the sides of whatver blocks you put them on, I see them all over old pictures of castles and thought Hey! now thats what I need to make a true ruin.
