well iv'e been on my trampoline today and I brainstormed on some major and minor minecft updates on my ipod-touch. hope you like 'em!
sheep drop on death:
mutton chops. comes out with the appearance of a huge chicken leg thats big and flat on the end (see spongebob squarepants midevil episode. patrick eats the mutton that i think is what it looks like... but don't need to go into detail.) yields on sheeps death. heals 1 heart raw and 3.5 when cooked.
Lead
looks blackish gray kinda like a gray coal piece, only with brown specks. Found on level 50-bedrock. comes out and ingotthat has the appearance of the ore only a bit lighter. used to make lead arrows like so:
Key: = lead
[] []
[] []
[] ]" title="-<->" /> []
damages 1 heart more than a regualar arrow because of lead poisoning.
abundance being less than coal. 25% chance of no drops.
Melted Gravel
When melting gravel it forms sacred stone. pretty to look at with It's natural stone colors. has the property of cobblestone.
Gradium:
A neon green stone ore. Can be melted and turned into an ingot to make tools and armour. Has the durablity just above stone(tools)/leather(armor) and streangth just Above iron. In block form gives a light output of 9. Also used as fuel for one ingot being like 7 coal. Found at Level 35-bedrock, abundance being a little less common than iron.
Nether idea: Kalpium
Red-purple in color, the metal can be found abundantly anywhere in the nether. Used as emerency wood like metal, Kalpium is soo brittle it can be made into planks and sticks like wood. Has a weak durability of 25 uses. Why? because you could make one into a pickaxe and 25 netherrack is gone with one. which is pretty far conserning that the lava layer in the nether is 'bout 30 blocks down... in block form it forms a nether rack block. ingot appears red with a hint of yoyal purple. this will serve a different purpose if dark-wood gets added.
Gasses
Have you noticed that in minecraft there are 2/3 forms of matter? well this covers that last one, gasses.
i'll have a thread goin' into detail but for now read this.
Gas #1,oxygen:
The only safe gas to breathe in, oxygen is a non-flamable gas and is essential for oxygen tanks(derp) (see below)
and underwater formations. can be found anywhere extreamely common. can be harnessed with gas tank.
Gas #2, helium:
This is a semi-safe gas you can breathe in for about 30 seconds. there is a meter that turns red when out of air. is flammable that spreads open flames. essential for ballons ( a fun tool that lets you float a little after jumping.
abundant in a yellowish hue that can be found semi-commonly anywhere.harnessed with gas tank.(see below also).
Gas #3, The creepers stench...
This is a very toxic gas that is found in deep caves with mass coal-iron veins. This gas has one use, Toxic gas spray. kills mobs in 5 seconds exept creepers that just stand there evilly smiling... takes .5 hearts ech seconds spent in it. the safe way to be around it? with a gas mask(see below also). harnessed with hazmat container( You guessed it, See below too). is neon green with blueish hue.
Gas mask:
Key: = gas filter (again, see below)
[] [] [] []
Gas filter:
lasts 1 minecraft day exposed to any toxic gas and 2 1/2 days in semi-safe gas.
[] []
[] []
corrosponding crafts:
Gas tank:
[]
contains safe and semi-safe gas
Hazmat container
[]
contains toxic gas
Baloon
key: = string = leather(serves as rubber) = gas container containg helium
Gradium should not be a tool/armor metalwork, but rather a metalwork for something else. Diamond is better, and other than making tools that are inferior to diamond, it doesn't have a use beyond that.
1) I dont think we really need any more food. pig meat is better then that anyways.
2) I think the extent of DoTs in minecraft should be fire. No poisons.
3) Sacred rocks? From melting a bunch of other rocks together? Makes no sense. Pease give me some uses this would have.
4) No. We dont need any new materials for armor/tools. Maybe for a glowing block, but other then that I see no point.
5) A new block that is, at the same time, an old block? Um... what? Again, we dont need new materials for tools/armor. If you need wood in the nether, just make a tree farm.
6) a) We already have oxygen. Its whats not a solid block or a fluid.
:cool.gif: No. We dont need to make minecraft more complex by adding helium.
c) No. I dont want to be mining underground then die of poisoned air.
7) Gas masks/filters are un-needed with the arguments above.
8) Hazmat..? An odd name, but it is un-needed with the arguments above.
9) Meh. I'm indifferent about this one. However, it should not be helium. Since hot air rises, maybe use a furnace or flint and iron instead of helium.
