First:the super sticky piston. It is crafted by a piston and a slime block. As its name, it is super sticky, and the block can stick to it tightly. When a piston or a sticky piston push or pull the super stivky piston, the block on top of it will con't stick to the super sticky piston(similar to slime block).
Second, i hope the redstone won't be washed by water or lava.
Plz don't mind my spelling and grammatical mistake.
So... this new piston is sticky at all sides? And I don't think water should be stopped by red dust. I'd remove the second idea from your post, this could be labeled a wishlist.
Yeah, that guy in the avatar is me. I'm *that* strange. It happens. Sometimes people act like that. Just go with it. I can offer help with suggestions even before you post them - NOT make your suggestions - but help you with them.
Soo.. does this "Super sticky piston" basically move what it's stuck to if the piston itself get's pushed by another piston?
Yes, you are right.
For more clear explaination:it can push and pull block, just like sticky piston. If the 'super sticky piston itself is pushed or pull by another piston/sticky piston, the block stuck to the 'super sticky piston' will also be moved with the 'super sticky piston'

I am very interested in why you don't think water should be stopped by red dust.Could you tell me why?

Because dust is not really... known... to stop a mass of flowing water?

To BlueRayEnder's OP "super-sticky-piston" [SSP]
From the above discussion I gather the idea is to craft this by substitution a slime block for the slime ball in the sticky piston recipe with the output being a SSP.
The defining feature of the SSP being that it will carry with itself the block attached to its piston head when the SSP is pushed from any direction.
If this description fairly represents the idea, I am in agreement with Wolftopia that it could be a highly useful addition to the redstone toolbox….
Somethings that need to be explained about how you intend the SSP to act if pushed while it is extended;
would the SSP | piston-arm | attachment group move as a unit?
(and what if one or more parts of the group are blocked by various block types; stone vs furnace vs melon etc)
what would happen if moving the SSP de-powers the SSP? (and, conversly, what would happen if an unpowered SSP becomes powered as a result of moving?)
Cautious SUPPORT (some parts need to be more fully explained/defined)
RE: liquid proof/resistance redstone
Redstone components being vulnerable to being washed away seems to be an intended design feature and would likely best be discussed seperately.

maybe a slime paste that is crafted with 2 slime balls and a bucket of water , it could then be applied to all blocks to make them sticky on all sides
An interesting idea in its own right (& deserving of its own discussion), but also a VERY large change as it would (potentially) produce altered forms of a great many blocks – particularly if, by application, you propose something other than combined with either a crafting bench or anvil.
I suggest refining your idea and giving it its own thread...

If this is the case, the "super sticky piston" would be very useful for double-piston and triple-piston extenders.
Check out my suggestions! Here is one of them:
Yes, that is actually one of my reson think of it.
Sorry for my unclear description.
It is actually just one side of it can push and pull the block, just like normal piston and sticky piston.

I mind.
"Second, i hope the redstone won't be washed by water or lava."
That is another suggestion, so you have to create another thread.
btw I didn't understand what your idea is : the block on top of what ? What means "will con't stick" ?

No Support. A lot of this can be done with a slime block.
