The de-crafting table will separate any crafted item into its components. It can be crafted with a crafting table and any tool (except a hoe). It separates anything into is components. It does not work with anything that has multiple crafting recipes, or is damaged.
EDIT: Multiple crafting recipes is now extended to include smelting.
To download the other ones you need to make a folder in the versions folder for minecraft and put the client and JSON file for the versions in there. They all need to be named the same aside from file extensions. Once you do that, you will be able to choose that version when making a new profile with the minecraft launcher.
I agree that there's need to be a way to fix mistakes, but I don't think we need an "uncrafting table". It sounds stupid and's a waste of time. I would rather "uncrafting" recipes be added to the crafting table. Just make sure all the recipes are balanced and don't let the player farm resources by uncrafting.
Suggested many times before. This opens the door for some potential major exploits.

Yeah, that guy in the avatar is me. I'm *that* strange. It happens. Sometimes people act like that. Just go with it. I can offer help with suggestions even before you post them - NOT make your suggestions - but help you with them.
Instead, what about more ways to get the valuable resources back from items? Like how Mojang recently allowed us to smelt our iron and gold tools and armor for nuggets, but maybe on a larger scale. For example, maybe you could get your diamonds back by smelting away the sticks off of that diamond hoe you accidentally crafted.

This tool is much needed. You finally have a hope if you accidentally craft something (which is quite easy to do with the new crafting buttons).

Check out my suggestions! Here is one of them:
You can't do anything damaged or anything with multiple recipes, so where are these exploits?
