1. bears/ new predators that arnt nocternal. (would drop meat)
2.badgers/ moles. would dig small caverns, and when killed, would drop a pelt/ leather. with a 10% chance of meat. would burn in daylight.
3.sharks/ seamonsters! these would be aggressive. but would give blubber and/ or skin to make armor!.
4.goblins/ elfs. elfs would drop 1-5 arrows when killed. and are neutral. goblins are aggressive these drop a veriety of stone tools. only 1 though.
5. craftable minion. you can command it to do a very limmited command list. such as: attack, help, follow, stay, defend, block, and explode!

6. controller. an agressive mob. makes all mobs (including passives) attack you in a 20 block radius. canno attack by itself. pretty much if it is alone. it will be defensless!
7. baby spiders! spin webs that slow you down, and are smart enuf to ambush you! (only aggressive if you step in the web.
8.mushroom men. hides in the ground and only looks like a mushroom. but when you step in a 3 block radius. they jump out and strike! drops: 1 brown and 1 red mushroom. a mushroom hasa 1 in 10 chance of spawning a mushroom man.

Some seem cool, others not. I kinda agree with this idea, but try Mo' creatures first.
