Here is an idea I have thought of for Minecraft after playing Skyrim for a bit. What if the devs made bookshelves a container?! Haha that's not all: you can only put Story Books in them!
But what is a story book? Well, if you've played Skyrim then you're should know hopefully. Basically it's a written book (Preferably with a new texture) that you can read and has a custom title! Finally real-life books are here! Yay?...
Here are some genres-
Adventure
Cooking
Minecraft Tips
Building
Nether/End
How to Survive
Etc.
Story books can spawn in any dungeons with bookshelves. Each dungeon could have a list of possible books in the files.
POSSIBLE ISSUES:
1) We can't have unlimited books or randomly generated books, but we can't have too many books written in the files: it will take up too much space
2)Who even reads? ESPECIALLY IN VIDEO GAMES? Though noobs could use these for tips
What do you think of this? I hope I explained it well, and if you play Skyrim then I hope you made the connection! Thanks for reading

Finally real-life books are here! Yay?... I haven't played Skyrim. This suggestion might cut it in detail for Skyrim players, but I have no idea what you're talking about. Is it just a written lore book? In that case, this has been suggested countless times, even one that's still on the front page. You didn't have to keep connecting this to Skyrim, lore books are in plenty of other games and universally known.
Here are some genres-
Adventure I'm guessing this has to be with biomes and structures, if so sure
Cooking Making food? This is pretty simple, but okay...
Minecraft Tips What exactly? Would it be common sense stuff, or hidden tips, or redstone patterns?
Building "You click to put the block down. Then you click again to put a second block down. The End."
Nether/End This is a good idea that I see working
How to Survive Good idea, though one foreseeable problem is that at the point a player finds a dungeon they probably would have survived the first night
Etc.

POSSIBLE ISSUES: The whole point of a suggestion is to convince others of your ideas. Don't bring up fundamental problems with your idea without a rebuttal. It runs the risk of convincing what would be supporters to not support.

2)Who even reads? ESPECIALLY IN VIDEO GAMES? Though noobs could use these for tips People read in games all the time, this isn't an issue at all
What do you think of this? I hope I explained it well, and if you play Skyrim then I hope you made the connection! Thanks for reading This is a good idea with a few flaws, but a poorly executed suggestion. When creating a suggestion, don't mention other games if there's no need to and avoid bringing up your flaws if you don't have a rebuttal.
The idea is good on paper (no pun intended?), but Minecraft isn't a story game. It works off of everything being originless. And not everyone will like the stories, so it's better for things to be a mystery than to be cheesy, badly written or just plain boring. The tips part is fine, but once you know how to do everything, the tip books will be a waste of space.
Extremely minimal support on only the tips part.

Yeah, that guy in the avatar is me. I'm *that* strange. It happens. Sometimes people act like that. Just go with it. I can offer help with suggestions even before you post them - NOT make your suggestions - but help you with them.
