I sometimes find my self with a vertical shaft and i want to cover it and be able to open and close the cover but there are no horizontal doors

So i propose:

= Wooden Trap door
[] [] []


= Iron Trap door
[] [] []

Trap doors work the same way as normal doors except they are one block and are laid down horizontally.

or maybe they could be crafted like so:

[]
[] []
[]

Trap doors and such are being considered, I think Notch mentioned it on his blog.

But yeah, this would be nice to have.
