Basically, mirrors will show whatever is reflected from it(or possibly only mobs/players, or something) It would have a bit of a shine considering how much light is on/near it. There will be two mirrors:
That will be a small mirror, only the size of one block. Then theres the other..
That would be a two-high mirror, nothing really different other than size.
Of course, if Notch makes this, there will already be people preparing for all sorts of mazes, another carnival room.. Ah, wouldn't you enjoy that?
Please only constructive comments, it doesn't matter if you disagree or agree, it's just a simple idea. Alot of people could probably expand on it and such.
I don't believe I'm new to the suggestions forum, and that search thing is way too retarded to use. Just because someone says "mirrors", that'll show up, even if the thread is about a texture pack or something.

Its only retarded if you dont know how to use it, use advanced search. I typed in mirrors, not in advanced search, and got these 3 results on the first page.

I like the Idea very much, Except could i add something? Instead of having 2 types of mirrors just have the 1x1 mirror and If you place another one next too it It would expand In that way.
I thought that if we had mirrors, being reflective surfaces, they could bounce the arrows around. You could place them on different angles (like signs) and they could bounce the arrows around. Other implications include being able to see yourself (ie more furniture) or creating cool looking rooms, mazes, the like (i.e aesthetics)
making it would be easy too, in the 3x3 square:
They'd be sign sized, initially, but making more than one mirror, say.... three, you could put them in a 3x3 crafting grid to make a long mirror!
Umm.. I don't know what else to add at this point... THERE. now my rant is done.
(and laser dispensers would be cool too.. just sayin...)
nice idea actually, but f*ck, there is no light tracing **** or somethin?
btw, I was thinking about such suggestion, then I searched on forum and found this thread.
And, yeah, it'll be RLY cool if mirrors will be added.
Like imagine somethin like this:
or this
and in the first case u can use it for underground farms and whatever u want, a lot of things ar comin to my mind
or for example, mazes made fully of mirrors....or lighthouses of mirror.....
but also the problem is how to make it cubic if it needs to have some inclination....
in the second case its a personal security spying system!! right for ur shelter!! install it and watch what is going on outside, when u ar completely closed in ur shelter!
and if the mirrors will be added, how about complex systems made out of it, reflecting light from sun and pointing it somewhere....yeahh , creepers burnin FTW
Basically here, you can dig as deep as you want, you'll have sunlight coming in (during the day). You could dig all the way to bedrock level, and as long as it's daytime, you'll have light. Why use mirrors in this case?
#2; Wood = Wooden Planks this time. Notch still = Player
Here, you have a very small wooden shack, which you can make on your first day, with enough trees near you. You can also make a Furnace on your first day, before it gets dark, and, even if you don't have coal, you can use trees now to make charcoal. Plus, any wooden item (or almost) can be used as fuel, so you can make glass easily, as long as you have sand nearby.
You'd need both Wood and Glass either way to make your mirrors, so, assuming that you find both, mirrors are useless in both of those cases. In fact, you can make your whole house out of glass if you start in a desert and have limitless (or almost) amounts of sand. This would allow you to see everything all the way around your house AND get sunlight in your mineshaft if you dig straight down. Combining #1 AND #2. Who needs mirrors here?

If you have a suggestion about guns go here:

Sounds like the TC didn't even try to search.
Seems that way

I thought, to combat this, modify dispensers to shoot LAZORS!!!!!

Both of those "drawn" ideas can be done with normal glass...
#1; Wood = Ladders. Notch = Player.
