So basicly, (Oh man I say that alot) A block that looks like a dispenser with the hole on top and made of iron.
RECIPE: = redstone
So when active redstone dust touchs it, it launches what looks like a giant snowball made of stone and steel. It would only work when the moon is nearest to the top of the sky. Small fire might come from the bottom too. When launched it blasts you back a bit and makes quite a bit of smoke. It may even destroy some redstone wires. At the same time the next night, the orb falls back down to exactly where it was launched, making a loud boom and definatly destroying redstone. If within 10 blocks, you would receave small amounts of damage. At the same time it landed, a block that looks like a white sponge would come out (The pod brung something back?). The block would be worth quite alot on SMP servers probally considering they make snow/ice form in one block in each direction.
(Note: After fired, cannot be re-fired until pod returns)
(Note: The pod wouldn't land on the moon, explore, takes back some stuff and leave a flag. I mean that it would probally bounce back when it hits the moon, making a small peice of moon rock come back with it. How realistic that is? Look at the Nether, and zombies, and creepers, and redstone too.)

Santa gave me a chest full of coal. However, thanks to undergroud preasure, in 10,000 years, I have a ton of diamonds!.
Redstone is destroyed, not "Stuff". And would you rather have Minecraft become FutureStuffWithStargatesAndSpaceshipsCraft? This is simple, makes all the monncraft people happy, and now people can make ice.

Redstone is stuff.
People can make ice? Since when?
Again, what I got from this: It fires something. The something goes up and away. The something comes back and destroys stuff.
It's cool, people could use this to get snowballs if not near a snowy biome, and it would hopefully stop people from suggesting going to the moon with laser guns.
