Blight is like grass, it slowly grows on dirt blocks around it growing bigger day by day. it will not spread if there is no dirt near it. blight will also change trees black and kill flowers and turn water into green and deal damage to anything it touches. blight is also slows you down by 10% making it harder to run away from mobs and it increases aggressive mob spawn rates by 5%.
theres 2 ways stop the spread of blight, A) remove all the dirt blocks around the area so it cannot spread any further. :cool.gif: make your way to the center of it and kill the NecroStone. the necrostone is the source block for the blight. by killing this it will slowly undo the effects of blight. the necrostone will be guarded by a mob called the necromancer.
the necromancer has the power to create weak minions, mainly skeletons with weapons. the necromancer also has an array of spells. like creating a wall of bone blocks to make it harder to get to the necrostone. rarely the necromancer might summon a skeletal dragon with 20 hearts and deals 3 hearts of damage.
the necromancer drops Bone Armor, aside from looking [email protected]$$ it has the durability of iron armor and the protection of diamond armor.
Blight would be a huge problem to grassy biomes making it a high and fun priority to deal with!
in SMP only the server host can place necrostone. lol imagine if a greifer got his hand on a necrostone!
Blight would be a huge problem to grassyevery biome except snow and desert making it a high and fun priority to deal with! ugly and tedious to deal with!
Ahem.
wouldn't grassy biome be everything EXCEPT desert? it would still effect tundra because it has dirt on it.
