Think of how cool it would be to have two or four player co-op. you would be able to accomplish a lot more than with just 1 person, setting up an online server is too much work (for me and my laziness at least). Have it work like call of duty and just have one person be host.
-The difficulty should always be set on hard so the players won't dominate and make the day cycle a little shorter and the night cycle a little longer.

I hate creepers, especially when they destroy my house while I am screwing around with them
I would really like to be able to invite a person by username to my game that is on my hard drive, but am not exactly sure how well it would work. I don't want it to lag for them... if they have the game, they have all the elements and code so it shouldn't lag right?
In the time you will spend posting this suggestion and reading and replying to ideas, you can learn how to host your own server. And if your computer is beastly enough you can host it on the same machine as you play with. Or you can spend like $15-20/mo for someone to host your server for you. Then your friends can play when you can't, and vice-versa. The game is co-op friendly already, just take a little time to learn.
