Hi, I have a suggestion for beds in Minecraft. Maybe making the wood type and wool color could affect the resulting bed? For example, a standard colored bed shows oak wood and red wool. A custom bed would show the different colors and different types of wood.

It depends on if each block would be shown. Like, if you used three different types of wool, would you see the three types on the bed? If so, that would just be pointless, since Mojang would have to take time to create every texture for every combination. Plus if you add in wood, it just gets ridiculous.

Maybe leave the wood...but making a bed with different color comforter would not be too far a stretch, and I really think customizing the wood could work as well.
I'd love to see double beds that are one piece as well.
I wish this would happen, but I would limit it so that you can only use one type of wool and planks in the entire recipe. Heck, even the wood could end up the oak colour still. I just want a pink bed in Minecraft, and texture packs mean others can't see them. It would be even cooler if banner designs could be used on beds, but I'm going too deep here. x3

Don't sign your posts like that, it's irritating.
And anyway, we really have no reason to have this. It's a cool suggestion, I just don't see how it's plausible. Partial support.
That could be cool, support.
How do you not see that this would be plausible?
There was a time when I would have said something like this was too complicated for Minecraft.
Then banners happened and I loved them.
In short, I think the idea would be great, but should maybe be a low priority thing.
Edit: Come to think of it, I think there was a suggestion for exactly this that I did say was too complicated. Might be worth trying to dig that up.

For all reasons above, no support.

If you'd like to talk with me about other games, here are a few I play.
Team Fortress 2
Borderlands series (Borderlands 2 is my favorite game, ever. TPS combat is a lot of fun and makes up for the lower-quality story, in my opinion)
Elder Scrolls series
Warframe (IGN is something like That_One_Flesh_Atronach)
Pokémon series (HGSS forever)
Rocket League
Fallout series
Left 4 Dead 2 (Boomer files always corrupt though)
SUPERHOT (SUPERHOT is the most innovative shooter I've played in years!)
Dead Rising series (Dead Rising 2 is one of my favorite games, and the 3rd was a lot of fun. 1st has poor survivor AI and the 4th is bad)
Just Cause series
Come to think of it, I mainly play fighting-based games.

Nonetheless, Partial Support.
Indeed, it would be awesome

Its the same as a signature, mr. Murkrow and dragons. No need to be snarky.
I do like the idea of better beds with different colors, it would make building bedrooms be a bit less bland.
