I'm thinking having seasons, but like deserts and snowy mountains would be relitivally the same, while plains/forest,etc would get snow at Z time of the year, with no snow at X time. Also, rivers would dry up every once in a summer, and flood sometimes too. (When it floods, have maybe a thunderstorm with alot of rain.) To wrap it all up, a calendar to warn when a flood or dry up river MIGHT(not 100% accurate, maybe like 75%) happen.
Calendar:
paper|paper|paper|
paper|clock|paper|
paper|paper|paper|
Its almost how a map is made, but with different ingredients.
Please comment/reply on what could be better/changed and what is good.
If you're introducing such an overreaching mechanic to the game, don't you think things might be improved if you were to have far more than just some snow or floods depend on it?
