The trees leaves and wood are black and the wood is called Evil Wood, obviously enough the leaves are called Evil Leaves, even more obviously the saplings are called Evil Tree saplings.
The trees can be taller and much thicker than normal trees, but not taller than a jungle tree.
Starvation will be common in this biome due to the lack of animals, bring alot of food with you when entering an evil biome.
The grass is not normal grass, it is its own block (I have not yet thought of a name for this!), and the evil tree saplings can only be placed on this block.
You may be thinking "Why would someone possibly want to enter this evil and disgraceful biome?", well, I will answer that. You see, this biome is very dangerous, but also very resourceful. You can get more wood from this biome than any other biome (other than maybe a jungle). If you dig down in an evil biome, you will get to the dangerous underground evil, which is packed full of monsters and is very dark and full of cobwebs and death. In the underground evil biome, if you go deep enough, there is a new ore called "Evilness" (comment a better name if you think this one is dumb! I could not think of a name), it emits black and dusty particles, it can only be mined with a diamond pickaxe, and when mined it drops the ore and you must smelt it into an evilness ingot. This ore is used to craft evilness tools and armor, which are way better than diamond! Wearing full evilness armor will extend the armor bar further than it was suppose to be. An evilness pickaxe mines as fast as a gold pickaxe, but can mine everything that a diamond pick can mine, and also has a ton of durability. Also the evilness axe and shovel mine as fast as a gold axe or shovel, but have a ton of durability. The evilness tools also emit black and dusty particles when in your hand. However, the underground evil is PACKED full of monsters, and evilness is more rare than diamond, so it will not be that easy to get.
An evilness ore takes twice as long to mine as obsidian would, and the first time an evilness ore is mined, you hear a loud and very creepy sound echo throughout the area/cave, and lightning strikes nearby. The second time you mine an evilness ore, the same thing happens, but a different sound. The third time the same happens, but multiple times and some evil biome monsters spawn nearby and attack. Then the cycle of things that happens when mining this, start over.
In the evil you can also find special evil dungeons and mineshafts with more advanced loot, but with alot more monsters as well.
The player has no chance of spawning inside an evil biome, because it is large and they may not find a way out and they might starve.
Let me know if this needs anything else added. Also, I know this seems like something that would be in a mod, but I would like something like this in vanilla. I was originally just going to increase the ore spawn rate by 3x in the evil biome instead of adding the evilness ore, and alot of you might like diamond as the strongest material in Minecraft and keep it the strongest, but I wanted the evil to have its own specialty. And add suggestions to the comments of what kind of special monsters should be in the evil biome and what they should do and how strong they are.

This is incredibly generic. I find a couple of things interesting, like the animals running away thing, but otherwise this is a pointless combination of "make the game harder," a new tier stronger than diamond, and "evil everything," which are not fun, unbalanced, and eyeroll-inducing, respectively. You also make it an apparently large biome for no good reason.
Please explain why any of this should be in the game.
I don't think another biome is needed and especially not this one since it doesn't bring anything new. I'd rather get wood at an oak wood forest, and if I really needed lots of wood I'd go to a jungle. No one will want to build in this biome because passive mobs will want to run away and it's also very dangerous and I imagine it won't look "pretty"
The only thing this biome really offers apart from a place to farm mobs is "evilness"
I think having tools and armor that are better than diamond complicates things and enchanted diamond tools and armor are already really strong, so I don't like that idea either. Also "evilness" looks too much like coal.

I'm sorry but this biome just seems way to tedious to even bother with, first off, no one would want to go in there at all, even for more wood (you could just go find another biome) Also, this evil ore is just, no. it taking twice as long to mine obsidian with a diamond pickaxe just seems.... way to tedious and the tools being as fast as gold? Gold only mines slightly faster than diamond and it having more durability than diamond is just useless as you can just repair a diamond pickaxe at an anvil. That armor is just useless as it just has more durability than diamond with a full set.
Overall, this suggestion is a bad case of 'Less X, more Y'
2nd, I liked it up until the evil ore. That is far too overpowered, and we do NOT need another set of armor. I'm up for more ores, but an ore with unique uses. So, no thanks on that.
3rd, Please explain the stronger mobs and all the dungeons and stuff. We need more stuff like that.
4th, Uh... Chaos Grass/Dirt. Sound good? The trees should have a better name also. I suggest like Witherwood or something, but that's kinda nether oriented, cause you know... the Wither.

This couldn't get any more cliched and generic. The names of everything is just "evil this" and "evil that". There's not a single interesting sounding thing in this biome, and every aspect just sounds "slapped in".

Well, if this biome isn't interesting, then what the blue hell does it have going for it? Nothing, that's what. It has nothing good. It is unbalanced, it is cliche, it is boring, it is redundant, it is everything a suggestion should not be. You tried, but this idea is so deeply and intrinsically flawed that nothing can save it now.
