Every one knows about this killer bunny that can be added through commands and this new 1.10 FrostBurn update that added two new mob variations got me thinking about the killer bunny. I thought it was a good idea and i have an idea how to make it more of a natural spawn. I would like to see a very dark biome, with a sinister cursed feel. This biome should be like a tall forest similar to like a roofed forest but with larger trees and darker wood.
I was thinking, similar to the husk and stray, bunnies that spawn inside the dark forest would become killer bunnies. I also imagined that possibly cave spiders would spawn naturally on the surface without needing a spawner to do so. finally this biome could also be the home to an exclusive mob like a ghost that would burn in sunlight even to the point of avoiding all light sources all together, with the added buff of being nearly invisible. The ghost could drop an ecto plasm like item to be used in brewing to create harmful potions. Because i went with a cursed theme witch hutts should also have a chance of spawning here increasing their spawn rate and making the forest even more mystical.
now I figured that because this biome is very dangerous in the fact that there would likely be a lot of hostile mobs, I think there should also be nice rewards too. I thought maybe there should be a new exclusive block to this biome, a new aesthetic mushroom, the Mycena pura A.K.A. the lilac bonnet that would emit a small blue glow increasing light levels around it by a small amount. The lilac bonnet could possibly be used in creating a blindness potion if combined with a night vision potion in a brewing stand. I think we all want to see there be a potion of wither that would effect all mobs equally so you could make this potion with ecto plasm and a potion of poison. The trees in this biome should be unique so I was hoping they would be maple or cherry trees adding a possible cherry drop along side a craft-able cherry pie, also the wood type would mean a new village spawn too.
This is all just my opinion of what I would like to see added in a future update but I think it would add a little challenge and adventure to our minecraft worlds as well as the opportunity to add even more innovation to our beloved sandbox game. I don't see the killer bunny coming back for a reason like that. I mean they made the mob really rare, and then just made it only available with a /summon command, so I can't see them bringing back the bunny completely just for one new biome.
The "ghost" isn't explained very well, and you don't explain the potions the ectoplasm makes. Unless you're talking about the Potion of Harming? There should not be a potion of Wither, it's too powerful and is just poison but it kills you and steals health. The mechanic works for the boss, not players.
I do like the biome by itself, but not so much what's in it. So therefore, very minimal support. I recommend seeing the suggestions guide.

Now, to try and dissect each suggestion:
Natural spawn for the killer bunny: I support this just for the hilarity of watching a friend be chased by a rabbit. Also Monty Python.
The biome: Larger trees and darker wood? This isn't really necessary. We already have dark wood, and dark dark wood (spruce and dark oak.) Any darker and you'd practically have coal blocks. I'd prefer occasional larger trees in the existing roofed forest biome
All rabbits that spawn in said biome are killer rabbits: This defeats the purpose of the killer rabbit. It's supposed to be a joke, a random occurance, not simply another enemy.
Witch huts spawning in the biome: I don't see a point to witch huts in general anymore, to be honest. Witches spawn everywhere now, and all the huts gave you was a cauldron, flower pots, and some wood. Not necessary
Aesthetic mushroom: Sure, don't see why not. I love me my shrooms... And a craftable blindness potion seems good.
Ghost: ? This doesn't seem necessary, and is also not explained very well. Same for the Ectoplasm
Cherry things: I love the look of cherry trees, and I've loved the look of cherry trees in mods. This is probably just personal bias, but I'd love to see these "cherry" items in the game. Cherry trees shouldn't spawn in this dark biome imo, though. Either their own "Cherry orchard" biome (forest, but with cherry trees), or just in forests.
Wither potion: No. Harming hurts living things and healing harms the dead. That's good enough. Wither is OP as heck imo, and if you could use it, it would be very imbalanced.
