As most of us are aware, there is a Bukkit (now Spigot?) plugin called Essentials that, among a plethora of other things, allows un-opped players to teleport to each other by sending teleportation requests.
One player named Billy might type
and then a message would pop up on dat_guy's chat, and by typing /tpaccept Billy, would teleport Billy to him. If they don't type /tpaccept, after 30 seconds, the request expires.
That's all fine and dandy, right?
Except what if you are on a realm, LAN world, or vanilla server? Or you are playing survival with friends and you want teleportation, but you don't want people to be able to do it at will? Or be able to teleport to coordinates or teleport people to themselves? Or you don't trust a player with op privileges but still want them to be able to teleport to people?
But now you might be saying: "I'm making a custom map/running a server where I don't want people to be able to do this! I hate this idea already!"
There would be a gamerule /gamerule allowTPA which, if set to true, will allow un-opped players to do /tpa. If it's set to false, nobody can do /tpa.
If you have any comments or concerns or anything about this idea, please comment below! Ideas are welcome!
I never really thought about this. This is actually good. Support.
