So you're walking along, minding your own business, when-- Oh no, A creeper! Not in a fighting mood, you start in the opposite direction at full speed.
You run for a while, and when you think it's safe you turn around, no creeper anymore.
Satisifed with your evasion, you start towards home, only to hear the familiar hiss that marks a creeper explosion. Before you have time to get away, you hear the boom, and the screen turns black... But there's no respawn button, and the hotbar is still showing. Suddenly your hearts start draining away to nothing, then comes the game over screen.
You've just been Nega Creeper'd.
Creepers that instead of exploding and destroying what's around them, turn their immediate air vicinity into rock when they get close to you, and suffocate you. You can of course free yourself by digging out of the rock, if you're close enough to get stuck entirely.
Their "explosion" cannot go through other materials, nor can it convert existing materials to rock.
Upon their death, they drop 1-4 stone blocks.
While I like the idea of a mob that spawns stone and the like, I think it would be better if you had something that's not just a creeper reskin. Some sort of gorgon perhaps?
Enough with the new creeper ideas. They are not good ideas, they are just re-naming the creeper, giving it a different ability, and re-skinning it. Other then that this idea is cool. (Sadly there is no 'other' part in this idea.)
