The igneous biome would be covered in above-ground lava oases and volcanoes. The igneous biome would also have little or no water, thus making portals to the nether rare. Diamonds and other rare minerals would be just as rare, and at low altitudes. Trees would be rare, but burning trees may be found near spawning.
I really like this idea buddy, iv been thinking the same thing
It would have to be implented right, like i wouldnt want it to be extremely common, lets say other biomes have a chance of 1 to come across, i think this should be like 1/4
I would love to see volcanoes and flowing lava rivers
Only problem there is the fact that lava should be really hard to get often, still i guess there is laways the risk of the volcano sploding in your face
There is already surface lava, and I assure you burning trees nearby are almost guaranteed. You're lucky if it's just nearby...
I feel charcoal should be a placeable block, that these igneous biomes should have naturally occurring obsidian, gravel instead of dirt, and charcoal columns where trees would normally be.
I like the idea of trees burning into a placeable charcoal block. Perhaps so much as lighting a tree on fire would produce charcoal, which (If placeable) is very easily mined with a pickaxe. This way burning trees don't just disappear. They produce useful materials.

Really good idea though
