I have an idea for Apple Pie. Crafting recipe is below. However, instead of healing a certain amount of hearts, as most other food items do, eating the pie will make you invincible for a "12 hour game time" period. Eat a pie, own the night.
um what just no number one a magic pie u eat and makes you Invincible is really odd number 2 its horribly unbalanced the idea of a pie isnt bad but the invincible thing it just horrific

Um, what? Just no.
Number 1: A magic pie you eat and makes you invincible is really odd.
Number 2: It's horribly unbalanced. The idea of a pie isn't bad, but the invincible thing is just horrific.
Meh. This seems to have some pros and cons. Invincibility seems unreasonable in this game, but considering the rarity of apples, it seems a bit more fair. However, 12 hours? A whole night? I dunno...
What if it just made you invincible against the next monster you faced and it had 4 bites?
Apples rare? Do you guys even oakwood farm? Just make it the same recipe as pumpkin pie (eggs, sugar, apples) and have it restore 5 or 6 hunger. Or may be stick with the milk too, and instead of a whole 20 minutes of invincibility (are you insane?), how about a 5 minute buff of resistance, not immunity to status effects (because of the milk, may be other milk based foods should have similar properties as well).
Support the idea of apple pies, may be with a positive status effect, but not how you are suggesting it.
I think it's fine considering it uses two apples, the rarest item in the game
They're aren't as rare as one would think- chop down a few trees, get quite a few.
I hate the idea of apple pie giving invincibility, couldn't it just an upgrade to cake?
You guys have no idea that this was made in 2011??????????/ And back then you had to get them by killing Notch. That's right killing the sole creator of the game, and you people think that it would not be rare, and didn't think that other people could have said that, and you didn't wonder. Amazing sometimes.
Sorry, that is me and I get mad sometimes. Anyways, this is simply too old, because the OP is gone and people would probably rage when they see invincibility. If it was a bit like pumpkin pie that would be great. You people rage follows
The invincibility is a bit OP, but only because it would last for so long. Maybe give it resistance III, which is 60% damage decrease, and last only for a couple minutes.
You have got to be kidding me. YOU HAVE GOT TO BE JOKING. Wouldn't there be a slightest chance that you have seen what time this was created? 2011. You had to kill Notch. People that post after me, you better know.
full health from each bite sounds like it'd be more reasonable.

i dont want to argue, im just saying
What if it just made you invincible against the next monster you faced and it had 4 bites?
That would be op you could nerf it and make it for 10 to 5 secs?
Sounds a lot more reasonable than a whole night of invincibility
