I like the new potion/brew/alchemy (what ever it is actualy called) ideas and if the health potion is no consumption of other potions during 5 minutes, would that mean that normal potions can be used in intervals of 2 minutes or not?

If you tried to consume something else within the 5 minutes after usnig a health potion, it just wouldn't be used. For the others, if you use a potion while another potion is still in effect, it will erase the old effect and give you the new one.

Oh and I was thinking maybe each glass/bottle gives it some sort of durability or use, like when you right click with it once, the potion is now 3/4 filled
or
You can right click it for one sec and it would use 1 ml of duribility (ok stay with me) the normal glass/vial/bottle would give 5ml of duribility, and that would give 25 % of the wanted effect and would give 25% of the penelty
and let's say somehow you are able to get a big vial, wich would have 50 ml of duribility wich would be able to give 100 % of the effect wanted 2 times, when you reach 100% of the effect wanted and are stiff using it, it would decrease the duribility of the item used and may increase the penalty (overdose)

[] = Glass bottle, wood is the cork. Returns bottle without cork when used.
[] [] [] = Flask, cannot be drunk but breaks when thrown.
[] [] = Leather flask. Ruins fancy potions, but great for carrying drinking water / alcohol.
Same comment as those above, have limit on how many drinks a player can have a minute and make effects slightly less dramatic. Combined with rare biome threads, this would create strong motives to travel to other environments for rare ingredients.

Yeah it would anyways
[] [] = Flask/Vial withouth a cork
Glass/Vial withouth a cork will lose duribility while walking

[] [] =Vial with a cork
[] [] [] [] [] = Medium Vile (Contains more drinks)
[] [] [] = Large Vile (Contains Even More Drink)
And
when you have a certain brew and you put it into a flask
= Small Vial = Medium Vial = Large Vial = Glass =Flask
[] []
it would cause a minimized splash effect of the brew
and when is replaced by or the spalsh effect grows and is less concentrated or is more powerful and has less of a splash (molotov cocktail, poison, slow down, etc., etc)

So you're saying that a potion should have multiple uses? I think thats a bit too overpowered.

multiple uses that don't give the full effect, that isn't over powered and let's say a normal brew can only fill in a normal glass/vial/bottle, only 5ml duribility wich would only give 25% of the effect wanted if you drink it all at once, so you would need to brew 4 potions to get the full effect desired from the potion/brew, Is it really that over powered now?

There are two ways (1 normal and 1 complex as they may be) ways of adding duribility to the Brews/Potions that will soon be implemented

This recipe will reward you with a flask which contains nothing
Uses :
- Flasks Can Be thrown empty and will deal minimal damage
- When You insert a brew into the flask, (hold onto the vial and put it in the flask) it will contain a brew
- When a Flask has a brew linguering inside it, and is thrown it will either A) Have a large splash effect, but the actual effect of the item will be minimal :cool.gif: Have a small splash effect, but the effect of the brew will be more concentrated (Not as much as the vial, less)

The Usual with two options
A) So you have the pot. in your quickslot inventory and you right click, you get 100% of the effect wanted but the vial is empty or broken
:cool.gif: I. So you have the pot. in your quickslot inventory and you right click, you get 100% of the effect wanted and the vial is now half full (or half empty for the pessimists out there)
II. So you have the pot. in your quickslot inventory and you right click, you get 50% of the effect wanted and the vial is half full
A') So you have the pot. in your quickslot inventory and you right click for one second, the vial would lose 1ml of duribility and you would gain 2% of the effect wanted and 5% of the Penelty atributted to cet brew (Please stay with me), the small vial would have a maximum duribility of 5ml and if all gained at one time would give 25 % of the wanted effect and would give 25% of the penalty atributed to cet brew
Now the Medium Vial would have between 20 to 25 ml, which would be able to give 100% of the effect wanted and 100% of the penalty atributed to cet brew 1 time, when you would hold right click after you have already gained 100% of the effect wanted, it would decrease the ml of duribility of the brew and may increase the penalty atributed to cet brew (Overdose, with Ale hangover) (When using more then one of the same type)
Now The Big Vial, which would have 50ml of duribility wich would be able to give 100 % of the effect wanted 2 times and the penalty atributed to cet brew, when you reach 100% of the effect wanted when you would hold right click after you have already gained 100% of the effect wanted, it would decrease the ml of duribility of the brew and will increase the penalty atributed to cet brew (Overdose, with Ale hangover)

I don't think we have to go overboard with tons of brews, bottles, and flask types. I think we're just fine with a fair amount of brews. The main problem with ideas like these is that they seem to consume a large portion of the game, and seem to completely change the concept of the game. This is just something you can put lower on your to-do list, and still have a good time with.

bucket of lava
coal
flint
Put this into the furnace as a fuel and smelts/cook all items instantly
iron ore
coal
flint
Restores durabilty of a tool
This wouldn't quite work. You can't stack meat/fish, so it would just only do one.
Thats a bit overpowered, it needs rarer ingredients.
On additional note, what do peopel think about apples for the life potion? They're rare, which makes the potion worth it.
Also I still think you should only be able to be under the effect of one potion at a time or you could just be like
