Duuuuuuude, slow down with the threads. You're spitting them out left and right, and most of them are underdeveloped.
Suggestions like this small should go in the Small Suggestion thread.

Yeah, that guy in the avatar is me. I'm *that* strange. It happens. Sometimes people act like that. Just go with it. I can offer help with suggestions even before you post them - NOT make your suggestions - but help you with them.
I find I enjoy it. Besides, there's strength in numbers. The best of the best I'll post in places where they'll be more likely to get attention from those who can actually do something about implementing them. This forum is kinda like an initial proving ground as I see it. I know I risk reader burnout, but it's a risk I am willing to take to find those ideas that really click with people.

More details. Or art or something to flesh it out. Good posts don't always get chosen for their quantity for information but they certainly garner views and responses that matter to the overall success of the suggestion when they have high quality.

I can promise you that this mindset will burn you. I actually raised an eyebrow reading this. Just because you make 100 threads, doesn't make you a better suggester. It's the effort you put into the threads, not how many you pop out of your womb. A couple well-developed threads is better than a butt-ton of meh/bad threads.

Please, please read the suggestion guide. What you're doing is idea farming. Don't wait for people to develop your suggestion, as it's your job to polish your ideas. No one else. Don't take these "risks", just read the suggestion guide so you know the do's and don'ts.

I like the idea of a villager to trade redstone but as Thing pointed out, we could use some more detail before really being able to say whether we support it or not.
As it stands, potential support.

Therefore, a plan that has no attachment to logic cannot be stopped. The success or failure of any given step will have no impact on the macro level."

The technician doesn't come with a structure, and offers a random selection of redstone components for whatever amount of emeralds the developers deem appropriate. It would be awkward and time consuming for me to offer a picture being as I have an unmodded XBOX 360 version of the game and imagining a red robed villager shouldn't offer much of a challenge for people. I figured for this idea I could keep it simple.
I imagine specific trades would go something like this... (but MoJang might disagree)
1 redstone repeater for 6 emeralds.
1 comparator for 12 emeralds.
1 redstone lamp for 8 emeralds.
4 redstone dust for what the other villager offers it for (I forget)
1 redstone torch for 4 emeralds.
1 Hopper for 15 Emeralds
The reverse of redstone for emeralds trade (item 4)
This is not what I suggest for this villagers trades, only a guesstimate, for illustration purposes, of what Mojang would set stuff at if they implemented such an idea.
Regular villager who deals in redstone components. Wears a red robe.
.... Thoughts?

Well it's too late now, it's here and if I post it in Small suggestions it'd be a duplicate.
You may have noticed also that I've not posted any new suggestions in a while.
I don't want this thread to be about how I posted it in the wrong place or about how frequently I've been posting new threads.
Redstone dealer... Like or don't like? Why or why not?
