Hello! I'm suggesting that we can link a microphone with Minecraft so instead of typing chat and commands we have the option to speak the chat or command and it will automatically type it out. So if your on multiplayer instead of typing out: 'My house is over by that mountain' you could just speak it and it would automatically type it for you.
Aside from that, what's the purpose of it? It's so much easier typing it out then saying it aloud, as the final result can have errors or make out the wrong command. I really don't see any reason for this, other than another option for it. If theres a benefit for it, I don't see one.
If the game 7 days to Die got this feature, why not minecraft?Infact, you can talk directly on 7days to die,no need to type
If Mojang went by that logic, Minecraft would also have overpowered and unneeded and pointless swords and weapons, dimensions, bossess, and a bunch of other stuff, and wouldn't even be called Minecraft anymore.
Just because a game has something that another game has, doesn't mean they should have it, and it's for good reason.
To be honest, speaking has more grammar and spelling errors than typing. If you are talking to someone, you would want to say that "Creepers suck" but it comes out as "You suck". The only decent voice detection systems are Google Now and Alexis.
I actually found a mod for this, maybe it should just stay a mod for now.
Maybe it should stay a mod forever.

Yeah, that guy in the avatar is me. I'm *that* strange. It happens. Sometimes people act like that. Just go with it. I can offer help with suggestions even before you post them - NOT make your suggestions - but help you with them.
