Let's start with this, have you ever wondered what lies above Minecraft's atmosphere? If so, I got the PERFECT suggestion for you! Space in Minecraft!!! Now hold up, you might think, "Wait? Minecraft isn't that far in the future! NO SUPPORT". Well hold on there! You won't actually be going into Space silly! Space will be going down to you!
Ok, that short little introduction probably didn't make ANY sense to you, but what I mean, is randomly throughout the world, giant rocks will fall from the Sky and crash into a random area The Meteors coming down will be a 1-100 Chance, so don't expect a meteor coming down until after like forever.. The radius explosion will be about 5 Pieces of TNT Exploding while they are stacked up. The rock will be a circular object made of Obsidian, Stone, Cobblestone, and Coarse Dirt. When you mine up those Blocks, inside the Solid Crust, is the Core. Inside will contain 1 Diamond Block to mine up and use! The Rocks will be rarely drop down and can cause a lot of damage. Also to go with this, Meteor Showers will occur randomly as some of the rocks (Cobblestone or Obsidian Blocks) may come down as a result. Meteor showers will create a beautiful show to watch like shooting stars.
Also along with this Suggestion, you got Eclipses. No, not Twilight. The example I will be using is Solar Eclipse. As seen from the The Overworld, a solar eclipse is a type of eclipse that occurs when the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth, and the Moon fully or partially blocks the Sun. This can happen only at new moon of Minecraft. This Eclipse can cause a weird formation of light on your world. If looked at, you will gain Blindness II. Which is a result in real life!
My final Suggestion, is STARS!!! Now there are already stars in Minecraft, but if you look up in the sky, not all the time stars will appear like in Real Life. Sometimes Stars, sometimes not, just randomly.
Anyways, nuff' said. This was my complete suggestion completely unlike the other terrible ones I've created! Tell me what you Think!
and Plz, get straight to the point! Give your multiple reasons why you hate this or love this! Don't just say: "Its okay, but I don't like it" What do you not like about it?! I can't edit my thread according to that! Plz respond with your best reasoning possible!
Asteroids would be a major annoyance. Sure, you get a diamond block, but what if it lands on your house? Solar eclipses would also be annoying. It'll be a long night that just hurts you, meaning you most likely would have to stay under ground for the day. Why would some biomes have less stars than other? I don't see a reason to do this. Jupiter and Venus aligning is also kind of useless, and it doesn't make sense how they would shine like a sunset. The Moon is closer and isn't that bright. Overall, it's a neat idea, but some things would be annoying or add nothin of significance.

Also along with this Suggestion, you got Eclipses. No, not Twilight. Since when does twilight have anything to do with Eclipses? Twilight is a state where the sun is below the horizon, yet reflects a yellow glowing light. This Eclipse can cause a weird formation of light on your world. If looked at, you will gain Nausea & Slowness II which will be a result if you really look at an Eclipse in real life Gameplay=/=Realism. This would just be a pain to have, if you were to casually to look at the one thing that covers up the entirety of your world.

Responses in bold. Overall everything you've stated (ecluding the star alignment) has a huge con and can be very annoying to have around. Meteors raining down by chance, would destroy terrain, and having a natural mechanic that does that when it feels like is bad. The Solar Eclipse is another thing that's solely based off realism and would be annoying to have. The Sun, in Minecraft, can be seen as long as you're standing in it's light. And just casually glancing at it by accident would give you not one, but two Level II negative effects. The final thing you suggested is something I can't really respond to, it's pure aesthetic and could be interesting to see, but compared to what everything else you said, it's meager.
