So as the title explains, slabs take longer to break then the block it's made of, but why?
The wood, cobble, brick, and nether brick slabs are fine but it's the other half of them that make no sense, they all take 10 seconds to break by hand, but logically it should take half of the time for half of the block, but here are the actual breaking times (By hand).
Stone/Stone brick: 7.5s That's 33% more time.
Quartz/Sandstone: 4s That's 150% the time!
So my point is that for some reason, slabs should the same amount of time to break as their whole block form (Half of the slab types already do :P).
