Which of you reading this use fireworks or banners? A few of you? Okay, which of you would rather not have to find a crafting table in the creative menu to make said fireworks and banners? Good, we're on the same page. Now finally, which of you want an easy-access creative crafting grid requiring no physical workbenches at all? We'll see!
Sometimes, you need to craft things in creative mode. Whether it's fireworks, banners, or items you want to test-craft before use in survival, it's rather annoying to have to pop down a crafting table when you need to craft something in creative mode--especially if it only needs a 2 x 2 grid.
What I think should be done is adding an automatic 3 x 3 grid in the creative "survival" inventory. Instead of wasting empty space above your inventory, it could be put to good use by adding a crafting input and output next to the armor slots. Want to make a design on a banner but don't want to retrieve a workbench from the decor blocks? Not anymore! Need some fireworks with specific properties and don't want to place a crafting table you have to remove later? Don't bother. The uses are few but helpful.
That's all I have about this suggestion, since there really is nothing left to explain. If you support, don't support, or have questions, feel free to comment. How would you like to have a constant workbench in the creative menu? Share your thoughts!
Sure, mods like these are supposed to do the work for you, but that's not a good argument for not supporting a suggestion. While we're at it, I suppose we should remove villages and force players to get a mod for it. Or maybe remove redstone and create a mod for that. Better yet, remove mining, crafting, and building, and get people to download mods for THOSE important functions. Get my point?
Not in SURVIVAL GAMEMODE, in the SURVIVAL INVENTORY in CREATIVE MODE. Its more work to get a crafting bench in creative, especially if you are building something and have hands full with a building palette.
Being a nerd is noting to be ashamed of. Who made the internet? Nerds. Who made computers and tablets? Still nerds. Who made every game you played in your life and ever will? Nerds, nerds, and more nerds. I am a nerd and I'm proud to be one.
