Note: This is my first suggestion. I have read all the pinned threads, so don't say that I didn't read the necessary things to make a suggestion look good.
Hey fellow Minecrafters! Today I want to share with you a small suggestion that adds a 'Current Music Playing' Factor in the F3 Debug Screen. It would show, as the title suggests, what the current music is. For example, if 'Hal 3' was playing in your world/server, the new factor would say, 'Current Music Playing: Hal 3'. Also, if a record was playing in the background, say, music disc strad, the factor will now say the what music is playing, + what music disc is playing, like this: 'Current Music Playing: Hal 3 + music disc strad'. This would help people find certain pieces of music that they like, without having to search it online. I hope that the community likes this suggestion and gets added in to minecraft.

I think this is an excellent addition to the debug menu, as it'd allow for mod developers, resource pack creators, and many more people to find out which music file is currently being played. There is no reason to not include this, as it would be invaluable to some people.
Thanks for the support, everyone! As for a321b74's question of where the factor would be in the F3 screen, it would be the last factor in the left corner (under 'Local Difficulty".) Also, can anyone make a banner for my suggestion so we could get the word out? I'm not really willing to pay, though.

I'm in dubio. The suggestion is very simple, and the question is "why not?", but I do not feel that the debug screen is the right place for this information.
The debug screen and all items on it provide information about the core game.
Music is not necessarily part of the core game with the introduction of resource packs.
I think that the current pop-up from the jukebox
could be expanded to include the ambiance music.
I don't really think the main screen would be the right place to put it either. I would like it in the debug screen, but as you said, that really isn't the place for it. Maybe as a small little notifications in the music and sound settings, in the corner have something like: "Currently playing music: Creative 5"

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. Where would it be located in the debug screen?
