So, currently the only way to get a player skull is by using this command:
/give @p skull 1 3 {SkullOwner:"CriticalPrime9"}
Now, thats not so bad is it? Well, when you end up needing 30 different ones, it can become pretty tedious...
So I suggest adding a new command, specifically for getting player-skulls, and even though the majority of Minecrafters will not be effected by this, it would make it a lot easier for map makers, and a few detailed builders, to get the skulls they desire.
So, heres the command(s)
/playerskull CriticalPrime9
/playerhead CriticalPrime9
I wasn't sure which one to go with, at first I thought skull but it might make more sense for it to be head... I'll just add a poll and let you guys decide, how about that?
Anyways, as I said, wouldn't effect many people, but I'm sure a few people would find it quite helpful.
True, you can do that, but this would also make it easier for people who aren't familiar with commands, to easily get a player head, anyways, thanks for the partial support. ;D
Posts like this are against the rules, you're required to give a reason why you don't like the suggestion, so please, inform me why you disagree with my suggestion?
You could type in the command, then press / then the up key, as that will go back to the previous command then change the name of SkullOwner. If you press up more than once, more previous commands will come up. In all, 60% support. It could be handy, but is not really necessary.
Im aware of that, I'm very familiar with all types of commands, I'm just saying, for the people who aren't familiar with commands, this would be quite helpful, and also, if you need them at different intervals of time, such as when you've logged out, this would be much simpler than having to type the whole command.
Thanks for the support, but uh, they didn't remove the player head option in 1.8.4... if you use this command:
/give @p skull 1 3 {SkullOwner:"CriticalPrime9"}
I can still get both my own AND other players head even in 1.8.7.
The custom player head feature is what they removed.
Also, in reply to your earlier post (which MCF doesn't let me quote for whatever reason and it messes up the quote), it's not against the rules to not support. I can only assume you didn't read past where I said "No support", because I said /give. As in, use /give instead.
And I've seen your other posts, and all right! Cool! It's to make it easier!
I have an idea: Let's make EVERYTHING easier!
Why not make a /npc command for an armor stand with full leather armor? Why not make a /creeper command to spawn a creeper for you? Why not make a /beacon command to give you a beacon? Let's have a /lotsoffun command to spawn rainbow particles! Let's make a /explode to spawn TNT! Yay! Let's make commands for absolutely everything!
You can just toggle commands using the arrow keys...and then modify the player name.
Sorry, but No Support...
Its already easy enough to get multiple player heads by using those arrow keys to scroll through commands if you typed in any. After you scroll to the player skull command, you can just modify the playername...it would be kinda useless.

That actually sounds like lots of fun. I mean, I know you're being sarcastic, but I would love a mod that just adds a bunch of random commands like that.

When did CriticalPrime9 say it was against the rules to not support? He asked for elaboration on a blatant three-word reply, and i'll have you know that it is actually against the rules to post like that. The second sentence of this post clarifies that Critical does in fact know that there is a /give command already in plain existence.

Well, i'm glad you at least tried to elaborate. Still, I can't tell what you were trying to convey with this messy block of moronic babble. Seriously, why in the world was this necessary? To add useless length to a useless post? What's wrong with just making something easier? Yes, why isn't there any of those commands? They all sound great and useful, and i'd definitely use them if they were made available to me. That /lotsoffun command sounds awesome, by the way, I credit you for that.

Which was given. Use the /give command. Sure you could say "No one could of guessed that! It's just one word" But then that would just be sad. Even if it was such a short reply he DID give a reason. One word posts are against the rules, that was three words.

He has a point, there wasn't a need for all the fuss, I simply wanted a better explanation other than that.

This can be the same thing as /toggledownfall and /weather clear, so Partial Support.

I support, but will the original command still work if this is added?
SURPRISE!!!!

Someone get me out of this god-forbidden place. I hate it.No support, since it's already possible.
Not familiar with commands like /give /summon?
http://mcstacker.bimbimma.com/
Plus, you can also use it to make player heads not owned by players. Here's a little tutorial I made on the subject

Yes, you can change the suggestion to make it suit the last reason, but it's honestly not that hard to get a command block.
That actually sounds like lots of fun. I mean, I know you're being sarcastic, but I would love a mod that just adds a bunch of random commands like that.
Full Support. I've been waiting so long for a suggestion like this. I chose /playerhead Username because it's faster to type because of less letters.

Oh great, MCForums broke multiquote again.
Yes the old command would still work as normal, this isn't a forces feature, just a way to make things simpler for those who use it.
