Horses have armor because they need the protection. You can't regenerate their health, unlike with wolves. No support, wolves don't need armor, as a stack of rotten flesh works perfectly.
You can heal a horse with sugar, wheat, golden carrots/apples and hay bales.
Anyway, that doesn't change the fact that this suggestion is extremely vague.

I really don't think Wolves need armour, they can defend themselves as well as players quite fine. Like Broccoli_Monkey said, the armour is used for protection because Horses can't generate health similarly to how Wolves or Ocelots can. If you have food with you, you are capable of regenerating the Wolf's health.
As others have said, this is very vague. Support pending.
People, seriously, do some research before you decide to be smart. You can in fact feed horses to heal them. No need to jump into criticism without thoroughly thinking things through.
This thread has a short explanation, and the rest is mostly self explanatory... By looking at the image given by the original poster, you can understand the general appearance... The following is what needs to be added to the thread:
• How can Wolf Armor be obtained?
• What is its durability, if it has any?
• Why would this make a great feature?
I myself do not support this suggestion, not because of my inability to actually build upon a vague suggestion, but because the idea itself doesn't seem right... While a horse can't defend itself, a wolf can. Wolves are attackers, meaning that they can fend for themselves and others, while horses are a form of transportation. A horse needs armor in order to protect themselves, while wolves don't need as much protection... Not to mention how over powered this is; a player with a pack of wolves is already somewhat over powering in battle, so it is easy to assume that a player with armored wolves is much more dangerous. Neither a player or a group of Zombies can possibly defeat an army of diamond-clad fighters, without at least a sword with fire aspect.
It doesn't seem right for a dog to have a heavy load of metal on it's body, and they're already OP enough. Even dogs having leather armor would be a huge maybe.
It's not really something that makes sense. Horse armor works out, but not Wolf armor. It'd be a useless feature since Wolves are pretty overpowered as it is.
Also, i think you should try to explain your idea a little more instead of just having one sentence for your idea, just saying.
Since horses have horse armor, can wolves have wolf armor like diamond, gold, iron armor
Well that was a vague explanation.
A good idea but poor explanation.
I'm on the fence but judging by that picture, I'll say No Support.

Thats a very sad looking wolf.
And a horribly explained idea.
Possibly a good idea.
But one sentence? really?
I honestly think it is a great idea but somebody has probably already thought of that. (Explaining how you got the image)
Also, you did not explain the idea at all (Yes I am aware therealstuewan said that and I agree)
Therefore I am going to say *No Support*

Read the rules! it's very vague, you need to explain it much better!
Like:
-How much is the durability?
-How can it crafted?
Gentlemen137 is a living skeleton that can play (bone) instruments really well!
Though he don't have friends and would like to be hugged.
Once you've hugged, you will soon be one of his kindYou got prank'd.
Good idea, but... The dog don't need armor, they just need some meat, nothing more
Help the Villagers to get jobs!
How to beat mobs at night:
1. Learn how the mobs behave
2. Use both hands
3. Have at least Iron Armor better
4. Do at least use Iron Sword or better
5. Hide in the bushes to suprise them
6. The mobs don't know whats behind them

For the love of Notch, stop making vague suggestions almost every hour, just make one good suggestion with a lot of detail put in.

Very vague, very redundant. I even posted this suggestion before, but I say No Support due to the lack of info.
Thanks for keeping them alive.

I'm done doing this anyway. So lets get back on topic.
