You know that rotten fleshy stuff that clogs up your inventory whenever you go out at night to hunt some mobs? Yeah that stuff, why not have a use for it?
As of right now I believe you can use this stuff for feeding dogs and it can be traded to villagers, and in certain circumstances can be eaten... bleh!
Anyway here is the suggestion (P.S. not all of these have to be implemented, just giving different suggestions on how it can be done):
1. Rotten flesh to Leather:
Yes, yes this is a mod, but not a bad idea. Perhaps incorporate a drying rack or something you can stick your rotten flesh on and perhaps a day later or something, it is all dry and turns into some sort of leather. Perhaps make this leather something like the rabbit skin in which you have to craft many of them into a larger piece of normal leather. (just so the conversion rate between rotten flesh to leather is about 5 to 1 or something similar)
2. Rotten Flesh Compost:
Perhaps make an item in game where you can stick all your rotten flesh in and after a few days, come up as compost - or dirt - which you can then use to fertilize your crops to make them grow faster.
3. Rotten Flesh, Hostile Mob Repellent:
I have so much of this stuff, why cant I post this stinky stuff around my house, say on sticks with the placing ability of a torch, to ward off the different scary mobs at night? Maybe to make this not so overpowered, it could have a decay time, as i would imagine, flesh in real life would decay. (of course something like this might attract more zombies...)
4. Rotten Flesh, Friendly Mob Attractor:
first off i don't think attractor is a word... Anyway, this stuff probably smells pretty good to pigs, cows and dogs right? perhaps have the ability to set some of this stuff up in a trap like thing ((the trap doesn't have to be a block, but something made with redstone) Although can be a block if we want to get fancy).
5. Rotten Flesh Jerky:
Okay hear me out on this one, i'm going off the idea in the first suggestion, use a drying rack to well... dry the rotten flesh and then stick that stuff in a crafting square and boom! monster Jerky! perhaps only fill up one hunger bar, maybe two but that's still not bad considering there is no chance of getting infected
6. Garbage Bin:
Of course if none of these are implemented, we need a way to get rid of this nasty rotten flesh. Make a chest-like contraption where we can stick all the rotten flesh we have in it and wala out comes a diamond! Okay, not really, just something to get rid of this stuff without having to dig a hole and throw this stuff in.
You know that rotten fleshy stuff that clogs up your inventory whenever you go out at night to hunt some mobs? Yeah that stuff, why not have a use for it?
As of right now I believe you can use this stuff for feeding dogs and it can be traded to villagers, and in certain circumstances can be eaten... bleh! As of how common Zombies and Zombie Flesh is, this is quite a good amount of use, but more wouldn't hurt unless they are really useful.
(just so the conversion rate between rotten flesh to leather is about 5 to 1 or something similar) Separate ways to obtain an item is technically the worst, especially if the incomplete item that has been crafted has no other use.
2. Rotten Flesh Compost:
Perhaps make an item in game where you can stick all your rotten flesh in and after a few days, come up as compost - or dirt - which you can then use to fertilize your crops to make them grow faster. I do like this idea, but would this be a block or an item like Bonemeal? If this is like bonemeal, then it would be redundant to have. So please explain more about this.
(of course something like this might attract more zombies...) I don't think having repellents are a good idea. You're pretty much safe in your house or shelter, and some Players could have other forms of defence. Like Cactuses or mini traps.
4. Rotten Flesh, Friendly Mob Attractor:
first off i don't think attractor is a word... Anyway, this stuff probably smells pretty good to pigs, cows and dogs right? Then it would be pointless to say "stinky stuff" if this smells good to Pigs, Cows and Wolves. For Wolves, I understand, but I highly doubt of seeing Wolves come by, since they most commonly spawn in Taiga or Forest biomes. As for Cows and Pigs, they are herbivores why would the stench of rotten meat attract them? perhaps have the ability to set some of this stuff up in a trap like thing ((the trap doesn't have to be a block, but something made with redstone) Although can be a block if we want to get fancy).
5. Rotten Flesh Jerky:
Okay hear me out on this one, i'm going off the idea in the first suggestion, use a drying rack to well... dry the rotten flesh and then stick that stuff in a crafting square and boom! monster Jerky! perhaps only fill up one hunger bar, maybe two but that's still not bad considering there is no chance of getting infected But then there is the long process of just creating the Jerky. Though it sounds like a good idea, it doesn't provide enough hunger bar to be used as a primary or even secondary source. As for the drying rack, there is no other use rather than to 'dry' Rotten Flesh.
6. Garbage Bin:
Of course if none of these are implemented, we need a way to get rid of this nasty rotten flesh. Make a chest-like contraption where we can stick all the rotten flesh We have something like that, we call them Chests. we have in it and wala out comes a diamond! Okay, not really, just something to get rid of this stuff without having to dig a hole and throw this stuff in. Throw it out in the open and leave it there until it despawns? Throw it into a pit of water? Into a pit of lava? Giant hole? Give it to your Wolf? Eat it? Store it into a chest until further use? There are many other ways, why just create a new block to store useless items and blocks?
Responses in bold. Overall the only thing I really liked was the Compost. But so far, it sounds nearly the same as Bonemeal. So long as it has a different yet somehow similar use to Bonemeal, I would like to support. As to everything else, there is really no use for it and is quite unnecessary.
(just so the conversion rate between rotten flesh to leather is about 5 to 1 or something similar) It's almost always a bad idea to slap in another way of obtaining something, because that can ruin it for the initial methods of getting a resource. You can breed cows for a butt-ton of leather, and to a lesser extent, rabbits too. It's effortless and cheap to kill easy-to-find zombies left and right, then just turn it into easy leather... Just because this process takes a day doesn't mean it's balanced.
2. Rotten Flesh Compost:
Perhaps make an item in game where you can stick all your rotten flesh in and after a few days, come up as compost - or dirt - which you can then use to fertilize your crops to make them grow faster. Hmmm. This idea is a bit better than the first one above. I'm not sure if I'd support this, since you can make unspeakably huge farms already. I don't know, something like that would need some excruciatingly careful balance.
(of course something like this might attract more zombies...) Good call on catching what would make this overpowered, but you can also use your zombie flesh as a expendable food source for wolves (though you can still have chests full of the stuff even then). Using something so cheap to make repel mobs still doesn't sound very balanced.
It takes one piece of food to attract passive mobs. It's too much to just have a block do the work for us.
5. Rotten Flesh Jerky:
Okay hear me out on this one, i'm going off the idea in the first suggestion, use a drying rack to well... dry the rotten flesh and then stick that stuff in a crafting square and boom! monster Jerky! perhaps only fill up one hunger bar, maybe two but that's still not bad considering there is no chance of getting infected This sounds like something that the game Don't Starve would have. I think the game has more than enough food.
We already have this. It's lava. Or cacti. Which ever is more convenient for you.

@Endergirl00 I see what you are saying on everything and i agree with a lot of it. Let me explain a bit more on some different things: (the other things i have seen the light and can be thrown out the window.)
2. Rotten flesh to compost; My original thought was a renewable source of something like bonemeal, but now i can see the effects of that, thank you EnderGirl, so what if we could stick the composted flesh with a piece of dirt, set it next to some water, tilled it and it made crops grow twice as fast or 1/3 as fast just to make it not so OP since you can get a lot of flesh.
5. According to the wiki, Rotten flesh restores 4 hunger bars, so by drying the rotten flesh, and putting it into a crafting table, perhaps the jerky could give 3 hunger bars, no side-effects (poisoning) and plus i was thinking, although it didn't get to the post, that the conversion from the dried flesh to jerky would give 2 or 3 pieces of jerky, so technically 1 rotten flesh --> 1 Dried flesh --> 2 Flesh Jerky --> 6 hunger bars (no chance of poison)

(just so the conversion rate between rotten flesh to leather is about 5 to 1 or something similar) Or, save it to trade with a villager for emeralds, a much more valuable resource than leather.
2. Rotten Flesh Compost:
Perhaps make an item in game where you can stick all your rotten flesh in and after a few days, come up as compost - or dirt - which you can then use to fertilize your crops to make them grow faster. This isn't terrible, but it's just a tad bit vague. Besides that, I like this actually.
(of course something like this might attract more zombies...) Or, get a wolf or a cat to repel/kill them off.
Yeah, or use leads.

Responses in bold.
Minimal support; I only support the compost thing and that's it.

What is the maximum radius in which this monster repellent can affect monsters, and how does one craft this? Anyways, I think we could use our own creativity to build traps instead.

Minecraft is not medieval-themed!!! As a matter of fact, it doesn't have a set time. And when and WHY did putting reponses in the quote, especially long ones, become a trend in the Suggestions? It's rather inconvenient, mainly since the OP has to gather your quote up manually. Avatar made by Endergirl!
Also, saying "You know that rotten fleshy stuff that clogs up your inventory whenever you go out at night to hunt some mobs" really isn't an excuse; if I happen to pick up any rotten flesh I just toss it out, the game gets rid of it for you and we don't really need any way to get rid of it, and as I and others mentioned there are uses for it - why do we need another source of leather, or a replacement for leads or using the proper food required for breeding (so you still need carrots, wheat, etc) to lure passive mobs?

Rotten flesh already has a very significant use - trade it for diamond tools.
Seriously - since 1.8 villagers will give you emeralds for rotten flesh, which can then be used to get the aforementioned and many other valuable items.
